I adjusted my hair for the fourth time

"Zayn, you look fine mate" Niall laughed

"I just want to make sure I look good" I blushed before sneaking one more peek at myself in the small handheld mirror

"You look great, much better than before" Harry smiled as he patted my back

"Thanks" I said before throwing on my varsity jacket

"Well, you better go now or you'll be late" Liam said as he looked at his watch

"Thanks mates, and Liam, make sure they don't trash my house?" I laughed

"Will do, now go!" Liam shouted, pushing me out the door and slamming it shut

I rolled my eyes and got into my car

I got to IHop just in time and saw Madison was already there, standing by herself outside, ready to leave

"I thought you were going to stand me up" She admitted looking at the ground

I lift her chin with my hand

"Now, why would I do that to someone as amazing as you" I said

She let out a smile and gave me a quick peck on the lips

I felt this warm tingle in my body. It was nice kissing her

I took her hand and we grabbed a seat in the empty restaruant

"Guess no one really comes to IHop at night" She giggled as we took our seat

I felt my heart flutter at her voice

It was so pure and sweet

I let out a small laugh and then looked at my menu

I couldn't help but flicker my eyes up to Madison

Her face wasn't glowing the normal flawless glow, she looked almost unhappy

The waitress took orders for drinks

Maybe it's just me. I shook those thoughts out of my head and decided on my order

The waitress came by handing me my ornge juice and Madison her chocolate milk and took out orders

"I'll have the original pancake special" I said handing her my menu

"I'll have the chocolate chip pancakes with extra chocolate" Madison said as she gve the waitress her menu

"I'll be back with your orders soon" She smiled and then walked away

"So how have you been?" I asked, trying to make conversation

"Terrible. I haven't been eating or sleeping" Madison huffed

"Why not?" I asked

"I missed you" She blushed, which added back that healthy glow she had been missing all along

"I missed you too" I whispered

She leaned over and gave me a kiss

I felt whole again
