Chapter One

“Ben,” I looked up from my computer to find Slendy behind me.

“What’s up, Slendy?”

“Sally isn’t back yet. Can you go and find her?” I nodded, hiding a small smile as I shut the laptop off.

“I was going to mess with someone on CleverBot, but I can go find her.” I hovered up so I was eye to eye…well…eye to where eyes are supposed to be, with Slendy.

“Good. She went out about three hours ago. She’s usually back by now, so please find her quickly.” I nodded and went out to the same portal Sally had. I used my human illusion as I stepped into the human world, just in case, and that’s when I heard Sally’s voice.

“What are you?! Let me go!” I hurried to where I heard her voice coming from, dropping my illusion as I ran, and getting my sword out. I got there and was shocked by what I saw. Sally was being held to a tree by some kinda human looking thing with horns.

‘Where’s Charlie? Shouldn’t he be helping her?’ I saw him then, up higher in the tree with his arm stuck through a branch. He was struggling to get off of it. The…thing…whatever it was slammed Sally into then tree. She cried out in pain and blood started to come out of her mouth. I felt the anger boil up as I came up behind him, then felt the blood start to run down my face.

“You shouldn’t have done that.”

“B-Ben!” I smiled slightly. He dropped Sally and turned his attention to me. Before he could react at all as I shoved my sword into his chest. I was pissed, and wasn’t about to play any games. The thing had a look of shock on his face before turning into a cloud of dust. Well…that takes ‘another one bites the dust’ a little too literally.

“Sally! Are you ok?!” She was slumped down at the tree, clutching her chest and stomach.

“C-c-can you g-g-grab C-C-Charlie?” I nodded and climbed the tree, pulling the bear off the branch. He hissed a little but that was the only reaction I got. I gave her the bear after I climbed back down and she took it shakily.

“I’m taking you back to the mansion now.” I went to pick her up bridal style but she cried out in pain, so I let her go. She was wincing and holding her chest tighter. “Sally?” She looked up at me, tears coming to her green eyes. “Should I get Slender?” She shook her head quickly and winced again.

“N-no. D-d-don’t make me a p-p-problem please.” I sighed.

“I don’t think it would be any more of a problem then what Jeff gets himself into, but whatever. How do you want to do this?” She looked at me, tears still falling, and shakily reached her arms out.

“P-p-pick me up…I think I’ll be f-f-fine.” I wrapped her arms around my neck and scooped her up, feeling her wince slightly.

“You ok?”

“Yeah. I…I’m sorry B-Ben.”

“Why?”

“You had to s-save me.”

“Why do you have to apologize?” I got no answer. “Sally? Sal?!” I moved her slightly to find her eyes closed, and she was out cold. I smiled slightly. “I’d save you any day, Sally.” I gently kissed her forehead and continued to the portal. Once through I quickly walked into the mansion. “SLENDY!” He appeared beside me.
