Sally hesitated for a second, and I was about to pull away when she started to kiss back, wrapping her arms around my neck. I wrapped my arms around her small waist, and held her like that. Soon enough, we both pulled away, and both of us blushed at the same time.
“…wow.” I smirked, but it soon changed to a smile.
“Yeah.” I kissed her forehead and her ears turned a slight shade of pink. She buried her face into my chest, and I smiled more as I started to pet her hair. After a few minutes she yawned then laughed.
“I’m gunna end up falling asleep if you keep doing that Ben.” I chuckled and kept petting her hair, humming softly as I did so. I picked her up softly, just in case she was still hurting, and took her into my room. There were quite a few computers still open, so after I laid Sally down I closed all but my main one. “B…Ben,” I heard her mumble sleepily. I turned toward her and smiled.
“Yeah, Sal Bear?”
“I…I love you too. Never said it…back.” She closed her eyes and soon fell asleep as I smiled and moved her hair from her face.
“You didn’t need to, Sally. I already knew.” I walked softly to the door, trying not to wake her back up as I slowly closed the door. I walked to Slendy’s door and knocked.
“Come in.” I walked in and saw a rare sight, Slendy was using his human illusion. Must be going out for a kill…he hasn’t had on in a while come to think of it. “What do you need, Ben?” It was weird to see a mouth move with his voice, but I shook it off.
“I just wanted to say thanks.” He smiled.
“I only said what I knew was true. You and Sally hid your feelings for so long, it was about time you told each other.” I blushed and nudged the floor with my boot.
“Yea, I’ll admit that. I’m going to go now, Jeff wants to go out for a hunt.” Slendy nodded.
“Be careful. That thing that attacked Sally? It’s not alone, I can tell.”
“How?”
“Call it a hunch.” I smiled and said goodbye as I shut the door and met Jeff by the portal.
“So,” he nudged me.
“So what?”
“You and Sally man!” I blushed and looked away. Damn. Seems I’m doing that a lot lately.
“Yeah.” Jeff whooped and laughed, pushing me.
“Get some!” I rolled my eyes and went into my illusion form. My hair became slightly lighter, I couldn’t see it but I knew my eyes became blue, my ears returned to normal and my Link ‘costume’ changed to blue jeans and a Legend of Zelda t-shirt with plain sneakers. I looked at Jeff. His illusion form always shocked me no matter how many times I see it. His ‘smile’ was gone, replaced with his ever permanent smirk instead, his hoodie and black dress pants showed no blood whatsoever, and his hair was once again brown. He blinked many times, getting used to his eyelids over his light brown eyes. “Gets me every time.”
“You should see how you look. That gets me every time.” Jeff shrugged and walked through the portal, and I followed soon after. “Ladies first.” I motioned for Jeff to go before me and he glared as I smirked.
“One time! She gave me the puppy eyes!”
“Sally wouldn’t. And admit it, you liked it.” I poked him. We were referring to the time he was playing with Sally and she wanted to play dress up. Usually she plays it with Clockwork, but she was out on a kill. Sally had somehow convinced Jeff to put a dress on and walk around downstairs in it.
