I felt all the color drain from my face and a shiver went up my spine as I remembered last night. I looked into that lake. I thought I saw someone else other then my own reflection when I looked into it. I felt like I was about to puke as I thought out the situation. I had seen her.

"We identified the student as Hannah Mitchel." The Dean sniffled.

I looked over to Mia whose jaw was practically on the ground and then over to Harry whose face was as white as a ghost. The Dean kept talking, mostly about new rules on the campus since this occurred, but I was not listening. So many things were running through my head. Who would do this? Why would they do this? I decided to push those thoughts to the back of my mind.

"Are you okay?" I turned to Harry who was still facing forward with his face in horror. He hadn't move since the Dean said the news.

"We wanted to inform you all to be careful. If you know anything that might have happened please come and talk to me. There will be police around the property conducting tests and trying to find any evidence, we will tighten out security. That is all. I know this is hard on many of you but we are going to keep school open today." The dean finished his speech and Harry shot up faster than a bullet being fired and was out of the auditorium in seconds. No one spoke as we all shoveled out of the auditorium and into the fresh morning air. The groundskeepers were doing there daily jobs of watering flowers and making sure everything looked beautiful on the outside of the school while on the inside everything was terribly wrong. One of our classmates has been killed.

"Do you know what was up with Harry?" My curiosity was getting the best of me. I knew I shouldn't try to butt into his business but I couldn't help but wonder.

"I will tell you later." Mia said as we parted ways to go to class.

I arrived in History and everyone was already chatting about the news we had just heard. Natalie was speaking to a couple of guys I didn't know. Her whispers were low and quick. Her cheeks were tear stained as she spoke fresh ones slid down her perfectly sculpted face. She kept looking up to see if anyone was noticing them but when our eyes met her face lightened a bit.

"Kate!" She called and pointed to the desk next to her. I took a seat and awkwardly stared at the three of them as they continued to whisper. "Oh Kate this is Liam and Asher." Natalie smiled at me. Liam was the boy I saw talking to Ivy the other day. Asher was someone I had never seen. He looked like he was straight out of a magazine. His jaw line could probably cut diamonds. Right as the bell run Harry came into the classroom and sat down in his assigned front seat. He still looked worried and slightly lost.

"I'm sorry man." Liam said patting Harry on the shoulder. Harry swatted his hand away.

"I don't need any pity." Harry crossed his arms over his chest and then faced the front. Mr. Pearson came into the room; which caused all the girls to sigh in class. I've learned over the first week at school that students love Mr. Pearson. The only ones that didn't seem to fawn over him were Natalie and I.

"Were just going to watch a movie today class I know how hard this morning was." Mr. Pearson snuck a peek at Harry. He turned the lights off and started the movie on the first settlements such as Mesopotamia.

My thoughts didn't stay on the movie for to long. Now I couldn't help but think about what I had seen last night. Did a student kill her? Or was she in the forest and someone came to kill her? As much as my mind continued to wonder I couldn't even begin to think of a conclusion. It also didn't help that I knew the girl. I wonder if they will interrogate the whole school?

Before I knew it the period was over and I was gathering my stuff to leave. The whole day seemed to be a blur and by the time it was lunch I didn't remember anything my teachers had taught us.
