I decided to have a house party and invite all of my friends to tell them the good news.
"Hey Anna!" I called. "Yea?" She called back. "How bout we have a house party tonight, to tell everyone that I'm adopting you?" She walked in and sat down next to me. She nodded.
I called everyone. The guys, the guys wife's/girlfriends, a few other people, etc. Anna cleaned while I started to make dinner. We both got dressed and waited for our guests to arrive
Everyone started arriving at around 6 and I welcomed everyone in.
"You still have Anna?" Coley asked.
I nodded. "I'll explain after dinner everyone, who Anna is and why she's here" I said looking in Annas direction. They agreed and we ate steak with potatoes and salad. After everyone had a glass of wine, I decided it was a good time
I told everyone how I met Anna, what her parents were like, etc.
"So now I'm adopting her as my own daughter" I said raising my glass. Everyone cheered and stood up to say congratulations to Anna and I.
Everyone left.
"Pajama movie party?" I asked Anna grinning. She nodded. "Onesie movie party" She said laughing.
