Chapter 10

Travis's P.O.V

I went to my room and sat on the edge of my bed and sighed. I didn't know what to do. I loved Anna like my own daughter. She even looked like me. Same pale face with the blue eyes. The only thing that was different was the hair. She had brown hair. Not even if I find good, responsible people who want a kid I can't give her up. I wanted to raise her.... I sighed and went to bed.

The next morning I woke up to see Anna standing in the kitchen humming and making breakfast. "We'll good morning!" She said waving at me. I waved back. "I hope you don't mind..." She said placing a plate of waffles and fruit in front of me. "Not at all!" I said smiling. We ate and afterwards, I did the dishes

I texted Danny and asked him about my whole situation

T: hey Danny what's up?

D: nothing much trav! You?

T: nothing I just kinda wanted to talk to you about something

D: anything dude!

T: well... I still have Anna. We flew back to Florida

D: really?

T: yes... Her foster parents beat her so I couldn't leave her all by herself

D: you did a good thing than

T: the thing is... I love her like she's my own daughter. I want to adopt her...

D: if you really care for her, you should talk to her about it. I'm sure she'd be thrilled.

T: thanks man. I'll do that right now. Later (:

I put my phone down and sighed while Anna sat next to me. "Is something wrong?" She asked. "No nothing I just want to talk to you" I said holding her hand. "Sure" she said. "Anna, you really are a caring and sweet loving girl. You care about everyone and everything and... I want to adopt you". She gasped and tears were in her eyes. "Do you mean it?" She said. I nodded. "Of course" I said hugging her. She hugged me back. "Thank you for saving me Travis" she whispered. "I love you".
