"Mhm- Grey!"A loud moan awoke me from my peaceful slumber. And right when Dylan O'Brain was about to propose and confess his undying love for me.
Damn you new neighbors!
Thinking about my new neighbor, I swung my legs over the side on my bed, my feet making contact with the cool floor beneath me. I groggily stood up and slowly padded my way towards my window.
"Harder!" a female voice screamed
Okay, so it was defiantly coming from outside my window. Once I reached the window sill, I rubbed my eyes that were still blurry from sleep. My vision became clear, but I wished it hadn't.
Right outside my window, across the small patch of grass, was Grey's bedroom. But not just his bedroom oh no. Much more than that. There were two people in there. One of those people, was Grey, going hard on a girl, of whom I did not recognize. Their moans and groans filled the night with noise.
Could he at least shut his window? why was he even having sex already? Its his first bloody week here!
I let out a small gasp as I took in the sight before me. I didn't think it was that loud. But maybe it was, or maybe our rooms they closer than they look. Maybe Grey just has super hearing, because right once that small noise left my body, his head snapped up and he met my gaze full on. He looked stunned to say the least. But that only lasted for a second as a smirk crawled its way up on his face and then he continued pounding into the unknown girl.
I quickly shut my window and turned around. I can't believe I just witnessed that. If that goes on every night, I'm going to start missing the old couple that lived there before. At least they made us cookies during the holidays.
I seem to have embarrassing run ins with Grey so far. I don't think I will ever bring this up. Just thinking about it made me uncomfortable, so slowly walking back over to my bed, trying to get compfy again. My bedroom began to get stuffy, and I so desperately wished I could open the window.
Again, Damn you new neighbors!
-.-.--.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
I had a horrible sleep last night, all thanks to Grey. I had never seen two other people having intercourse bEfore, and I wanted to keep it that way, but again thanks to Grey, I feel like I had lost apart of my innocence.
I rolled out of bed, landing in a heap on the ground. I groaned and proceeded to get up and get on with my day. One little thing, that's all it was, it can't effect me in anyway. Even though it was mentally scaring. maybe I'm overreacting, in fact I probably am. Bit I just can't help it. It was so.... Weird? Awkward? Embarrassing? All of the above.
I padded over to the bathroom an looked in the mirror. My hair was an unruly mess, my blue eyes were slightly puffy and had dark circles under then due to my lack of sleep. I grabbed my brush off the counter and tried to pull the knots out of my hair. After I got my hair into a loose side braid, I continued with my morning routine. I pulled on a dark blue skirt that came just above my knees, and a cream cami that tucked in. I pulled on my combat boots, grabbed my school bag and left out the door.
"Morning" My sister chirped happily when I walked into the kitchen.
"What's got you in such a good mood" I asked her
She smiled and shook her head, her strawberry blonde curls bouncing with her.
"Can't I just be happy Monroe?"
"No you can't Cindy" I drawled
She sighed which meant she was going to cave and tell me what's up
"Okay, mum is going on another business trip"
I raised an eyebrow at her. Whats the big deal? Our mother always goes on business trips. She is barley ever around.
"And..." she continued
"She said Daniel could stay here while she is gone!" she exclaimed happily.
Daniel was a nice enough guy. And he seemed to make my sister happy, so if Cindy was happy, I was happy.
"Good- just- no sex while I'm home okay?" I asked hesitantly
She looked at me weirdly "okay?" she replied almost as a question. On that note I turned on my heels and walked towards the front door. I grabbed my leather jacket off the banister before I shut the front door behind me.
I pulled my keys out of my bag, and hoped into my car. It was an old used car that I got from the old neighbors, as they couldn't drive due to their age anymore. It wasn't anything special, but it was mine, and that was enough for me.
I pulled out of the driveway and drove the 10 minute drive to school
--..-.-.-.-.-.-
I walked through the halls, swerving in and out of groups of people. My chin glued to my collar bone. My pace was quick. It was like this everyday. I was just this kind of person. The kind to keep your head down, and are content with being on the sidelines.
"Monroe!"
I lifted my head and snapped it towards the source of the yelling. I saw Kayla running down the hall swerving around people and almost being knocked over by a bunch of people, and it ended with her flipping them off in return.
"Kayla? what are you doing?" I whisper yelled at her. She gave me a sheepish grin whilst trying to regain her breath again.
"Have- you - seen the - new guy?" she panted, she must have ran all over the school looking for me of she was this out of breath.
"No? I don't think I have" I replied hesitantly
Her head snapped up to meet my own
"What?!?" she exclaimed
"Just wait until you do! he is fiiine"
I rolled my eyes and turned around, continuing my walk to English Lit.
-.-.-.-.-..-.-
Lunch rolled round fairly quick. I had English and Phycology in the mornings, Lunch, then Maths and finally Phys Ed. I'm not a very sporty person, so I have no idea why I took it again.
I walked into the cafeteria and saw Kayla at our normal table. A guy approached her and seemed to be asking her something, or so that's what his body language was telling. She replied with a curt shake of the head saying 'no' to probably the 2nd guy this week.
"Who was that?" I asked Kayla as I sat down across from her.
She shrugged "some guy in my art class"
"Are you ever going to agree to go out with any of these guys?" I questioned while motioning my hand around the room.
She sighed "maybe if the right one asked me out, I would say yes"
"Well-" I was cut off by a loud squeal that just so happened to come from my best friend.
"That's him!" She almost yelled
I nudged her telling her to be quiet, and I turned my head around to meet the green gaze of none other than Grey 'I don't know his last name'
He smirked. His smirk. That one I will have to see all the time now.
"Isn't he soo hot!" Kayla's voice cut me out of my thoughts. I turned to look at her, then back to where Grey was standing only moments ago. Except this time, he wasn't there. I trailed my eyes all over the cafeteria in search of him, but no such luck came, as Grey was no where in sight. I turned back round to Kayla
"Yea, soo hot" I mumbled.
