I'm still yet to find an image that makes me think "yes, that's Michael." I continue to search for his likeliness! I did once have an image here but the link was severed and I wasn't able to recover it. Regardless, since then my visualisation of Michael has changed!

Authors Opinion: This was a great suggestion. Despite being covered in tattoos, Stephen James has the pale skin, grey eyes and dark hair. He further has a chiselled facial structure much how Michael is described. If we look past the nose ring and tattoos he's a decent contender.

Bill Skarsgård
Authors Opinion: Bill is a great shout for Michael. He has the pale skin, the delicate but defined facial structure and the grey eyes. In fact his eyes are one of his most noticeable features. Additionally, Bill has an incredibly expressive face. As an actor I've seen him go from handsome to down right scary. His serial killer stare is on point! As for his physical build, he's a little lankier than I pictured Michael.

Dylan O'Brian
Authors Opinion: A blue eyed Dylan does match Michael. Dylan has the pale skin and purple rings around his eyes to match Michael's tired boy look. With his dark hair and (altered) blue eyes he's a decent match up. However, Dylan's shortfall is his build and stature which is smaller than Michael's. Additionally, I don't think Dylan as an actor has it in him to play such a dark and brooding character!
