Jealous Hearts Will Leave Us All In Ruins (JALEX)

Jack groaned and looked at his watch. It was 3:42 in the fucking morning. Jack was tired but he found it nearly impossible to sleep due to the creaking and moaning that was coming from the bunk above his. Alex and Tay were at it again, just like they had been for the past god damn hour. How could anyone have sex for that long with barely any breaks? 

That familiar pain started to grow in Jack's chest as he fought back the tears that were threatening to spill over. Ever since Alex and Tay started dating at the begining of the summer, Alex had little time for Jack. Jack would always see them together and each time it would hurt just a little bit more. Not only was it because he missed his best friend but more so because Jack was head-over-heels in love with Alex. 

Tay let out an exceptionally loud moan, followed by Alex crying out "Yes! Yes! Yes!" and that was when Jack decided that he was done listening to the porno that was apparently being filmed above him. He threw his bunk cutain back, climbed out, and stretched. He grabbed his pillow and a blanket and, with on last look at the curtain the seperated Alex and Tay from himself, he shook his head and trudged into the front lounge.

Rian was sitting at the table on his laptop when Jack's lanky figure emerged from the bunk area. 

"Hey Jack. I thought you went to sleep," Rian said looking at Jack over the top of his screen.

Jack shook his head and started adjusting his blankets and pillow on the couch. Rian frowned at his friend.

"You okay, man? You seem kind of down."

Jack pressed his lips together and swallowed the lump that was forming in his throat. "I'm fine,"he said so quietly that he wasn't completely sure that he had even said it. Both boys knew that Jack was lying but Rian didn't press it any further and Jack was thankful for that. 

If Rian had continued to press Jack as to what was bothering him, the truth eventually could have slipped out and Jack never wanted the truth and his friends to meet. Not yet anyway. You see, not only did Jack's friends not know about his feelings towards Alex, no, they didn't even know that he was gay. Rian, Zack, and Alex were smart. They would eventually catch on. And what good would that do since Alex and Tay are so happy together? For now, Jack was completely happy keeping his secret a secret. 

Jack shook his head at his thoughts and layed down on the not-so-comfotrable couch. He pulled the blanket around him and sighed when he heard Alex's lust-filled voice scream out "Fucking shit! You have no gag reflex! Uuuuuuuuunfh!"

Rian chuckled and said, "Damn, they sure are going at it."

Jack groaned and turned over so his back was facing Rian. He pulled the blanket up over his head and that was when the first of many tears escaped his chocolate brown eyes. The last thing he remembered before falling asleep was wondering how in the hell Zack was able to sleep through all of that noise.
