Will Lenney

Will was quick to finish his game of poker, tossing his winnings of a single, yet valuable, ticket for the soon departing Titanic into the safety of his tattered backpack. He lazily slung it over his shoulder, racing down the dock towards the crowded loading area in attempts to make it in time to the third class boarding area.

He made his way through plenty of sobbing families, saying their goodbyes to their departing wives, husbands and children. He knew he didn't have much time, as third class was already being called for final passengers.

Dreams of America and what opportunities awaited flashed through Will's mind as he hurriedly entered the ship with ease. He barely acknowledged the poor conditions of his cabin as he laid his belongings down with a thud, not bothering to organize. All he could think of was how exciting this new world would be, paying little mind to the others that accompanied him in the third class section.

All Will could think of doing on the ship at this point was to reach the top deck and stare out at the water. So, he made his way up the stairwell to get to his destination.

Now, Will was quite the extrovert, and he was always willing to make new friends, even if they were higher class and even if they were, in George's case, attempting suicide.

George Andrews

"Come along now, George. Your mum is waiting." George's shy companion, Alex, ushered the shorter male along.

George looked up at the ship, not needing to shield his eyes from the sun's blinding rays, as his sunglasses already took care of that. He gave a disgusted scowl beneath his laced black and white bandana as he eyed the ship he was boarding, keeping close to Alex as he avoided his parents' gaze.

"Isn't it wonderful?" His father boasted from the top of the deck, gazing out at the wonderful ship they found themselves upon. Well, it wasn't so wonderful to George.

"Yeah... great..."

All George's life he had constantly been catered to and spoiled. Just once, George wanted to be treated like a functioning member of society instead of being looked at like he was a stuck up snob; he wasn't. George didn't like being rich. He just wanted to live and thrive in the world without being overly supported by his parents and their large fortune.

George could care for himself! Couldn't he?

"Georgie!" Alex's snappy, yet still sugary sweet, tone snapped him from his thoughts. Alex could attempt to be fed up and impatient, but he could never really pull it off and remain believable.

The boat horns were wailing, signaling the beginning of departure. When he heard this, George panicked and ran the extra steps to the deck, waving a small goodbye to the gathered crowds below.

Alex smiled, knowing all too well of George's current situation; he knew George wasn't happy, but he didn't dare bring up the matter, especially when George's parents were within sight.
