4: The Third Man

???: I don't know who taught you stealth but fuck you're bad at it.
Maia: I'm not here to kill you!
???: I know there's a bounty on my head, I just don't know how much, reveal yourself and I won't kill you.

Maia stood up with her hands up, Ajax floating low behind her.
The man took off his mask to reveal a familiar face of the Bounty Hunters, a man they called Twitch

Maia: T-Twitch?!? What happened to you??
Twitch: I trusted the right person this time, now look at me, I'M A GOD!

Electricity sparked from his hands creating a lightning strike from above startling Maia
Twitch aimed his hands at Maia

Twitch: Tell me Maia if you aren't here to kill me then what is your purpose tracking me down?
Maia: I'm looking for Nix.. I haven't stopped looking since he disappeared.. is he okay? Please tell me..
Twitch: Nix.. I'm sorry Maia.. he died.

Maia fell to her knees, all this time for nothing, she started sobbing, Ajax floating beside her for comfort, Twitch placed his left hand on a generator absorbing power from it.

Twitch: Since I'm guessing you found me so easily that there are others nearby.. which means I must eliminate all of you, starting with you.

Maia looked up as twitch shot a massive lightning blast towards her, Ajax shot past Maia in front of her and generated a shield, blocking the lightning. The lightning continued with so much power that the shield was breaking.

Twitch: You can't prevent this Maia! Just let it happen! You will DIE!

Maia braced for impact as she stood up, she was ready for the shield to break, out of nowhere something shot past her, a second after it did the lightning stopped, she looked to her left to see what looked to be a metal rod, she turned around and saw the third man in the video and shooting out of his gauntlet was the whip, she looked at Twitch and saw that the whip had reached into Twitch's mouth.

Suddenly the whip started igniting blades, like a domino effect it reached Twitches mouth, two seconds after that the third man ripped the whip from twitches mouth and out came his throat still connected to the whip. Maia nearly vomited at the sight of it, Twitch fell dead right in front of them.

The third man pulled twitches throat off his whip and threw it on the ground, he stared at Maia.
Maia pointed a pistol at the third man and he started to speak with a voice synthesiser, hiding his voice.

???: I am not going to kill you, you aren't worth killing.
Maia: And the security guards were? So was the politician!?
???: We wanted to get your attention, that was the best way.

The man walked closer to Maia and Maia shot twice at the man connecting both times, one in the shoulder and one in the head, what looked like smoke came out of each bullet hole, the man stood back a bit as he absorbed the smoke back into his body, like nothing happened.

???: You learn something new every day, I'm bulletproof!

This frightened Maia as she shot more bullets, the man disintegrated into ashes that flew past her, the man appearing behind her disarming her and taking her to the floor, Ajax Shocked the man with a taser to no effect, the man looked at Ajax with a confused look as he didn't see the drone there before. The man stood up and grabbed the drone and held it up to his face, pressed a button on the back of Ajax which made Ajax scan the mans eye.
