Finale: The Best Of Us

Logan: With this, Yes I can.
Maia: Will that kill him?
Logan: No.. I don't think so, what it does is kill the cells in his body that gives him the power, I've never used it before but nows the day I have to use it.

Logan looked around him, the rubble and smoke surrounding them all.

Logan: Noah was meant to be the best of us, I never saw this coming.. What happened to him?
Maia: He fought with Mercer and killed him brutally, he was saying something about hating Diaz for making him the person he was today, I left to go find Phase here and I heard a lot of gunfire, then a pause and all of this happened.
Phase: Hey do you guys feel that? The wind?

They stood still and felt the wind, what was once nothing has become strong, the smoke heading to a direction on Logan's Right. Logan had only one suspicion, Nix.

Logan: You guys gotta get outta here.
Maia: What?! Why?!
Logan: Because if you stay here you are going to die! Get out of here!

Phase grabbed Maia and guided her away from Logan. Logan looked down at the Syringe and put it back in his vest, the smoke was being pulled stronger and stronger, once it stopped Logan heard screaming and rushed over towards the screams.
He stood on top of the rubble and looked down to see Nix, torturing Diaz, Logan couldn't understand what Nix was saying but he knew he was gonna kill Diaz, Diaz spat in Nix's face and pulled out a grenade, pulling the pin without Nix noticing, smirking at him as the grenade exploded killing Diaz instantly.

Nix's body was in pieces, fingers, arm, ear, leg, all torn off, Nix moaning in pain. Logan slid down the rubble and walked up to Nix, he stared at Logan and turned to ashes rising himself back up with his full body without injuries.

Logan: What. did. you. do.
Nix: I did everyone a favour.
Logan: You nearly killed everyone! These were people who supported you!
Nix: Would people who supported you shoot at you?! I saved them all from Mercer as I clipped him dead! And what was the thanks I got?! Everyone fucking shot at me, I had hundreds of bullets entering every part of my body! So yeah I killed them. I think you would do the exact same thing if you were shot at.

Logan stood still waiting for Nix's next move, Nix raised his arm in the air absorbing the smoke around them for more power.

Nix: So tell me Logan, hows this gonna play out? Because at the moment there's only one way this ends.
Logan: I don't want it to be that way Noah.
Nix: Why not?
Logan: Because you were meant to be the best of us.

Nix stopped absorbing the smoke and put his hands in his pockets, giving a smirk to Logan.

Nix: I'm sorry you felt that way, I'm sorry I disappointed you, but this is only ending one way.

Logan stayed silent, he stared at Nix with a blank expression.

Nix dashed at Logan grabbing a pipe and swinging it in his direction, Logan ducked underneath it countering with a right knee to the gut and a left hook to the face, Nix recovering wings the pipe whacking Logan in the face, Logan staggered to the ground falling to his hands and knees, Nix dragged the pipe along the ground as he approached Logan to continue his assault but someone stood in front of him, it was Maia.

Maia: Noah please stop this!
Nix: Get out of the way Maia.
Maia: No! I'm not moving so if you want me to move you gotta do it yourself!

Nix tried walking past her but Maia continued to get in his way. He dropped the pipe and walked backwards, absorbing some of the smoke in the air, he started creating an orb of smoke in his hands. Once he thought he was far enough he ran towards Logan and Maia, throwing the orb down to the ground which blasted Nix into the air over Maia and landing with a shockwave onto Logan, throwing Maia into some rubble from the shockwave knocking her unconscious.
Logan started coughing up blood and Nix suddenly realised what he had did.
