Chapter 7 The Lair

Hey guys...yes I know I haven't updated in a while but here I am. Idk if I am going to makes this really long to get this scene over with or make two chapters. I guess we will have to see as I go on well here you go the chapter you've been waiting forever for.

Jesse POV

I see Ivor and start running toward him. 

He goes through a door.

 "Where's he going," Lukas asks.

"I don't know," I answer. 

"Then come on let's go!" Petra yells.

 We all start heading down to the basement but right before we do Lukas asks, "What are we going to do when we catch Ivor?" 

"We politely ask for what's ours," I tell him. 

"Short, sweet, and to the point like you, not bad," he says. 

I hit him lightly. "Ready?" I ask Petra. "Ready," she answers. 

We all head down to the basement. We look around the corner. 

"See anything," I ask. "He must have gone out another way," Petra explains. 

Olivia asks, "What is all this?" 

"Looks like it used to be the basement, weird place to have a hideout," I say.

Lukas POV

"I'll bet you anything, I'll find my wither skull here," Petra exclaims. 

"If we find anything else cool to steal along the way so be it, right?" Axel tells us. 

"That's not what we are here to do," Petra explains to him. 

Jesse says, "We should ask politely Axel." 

She is so kind, It drives me crazy. 

"Well if the guy's not here, we can't ask so I say we take," he tells us. 

Petra says, "I don't wanna stoop down to his level." 

"Let's just focus on finding the wither skull, not steal Axel," Jesse tells him. 

"Nobody ever lets me have any fun," he says. 

"We let you hang out with us and the faster we find the skull the faster we can get the heck outta here," Jesse says. 

She starts walking towards me and says, "You better start looking, I'll go help Petra." 

She pecks my cheek and starts walking over to Petra who is looking through a chest. 

I start looking around and kinda hear what those two are talking about. 

"Oh hello," says Petra. She swings it around a little bit and says, "Too heavy and too soft but super flashy." "Yeah I don't think this guy does much fighting," Jesse says, "Hey, you still have that one stone sword right?" Petra asks.

Jesse POV

"Hey, Petra," I whisper. 

"Ya," she says. 

I shush her. She looks confused. 

"Earlier when that butcher dude was trying to chop up Rueben he said something to Lukas that made him upset."

 "What did he say?" 

"Something about being his uncle...I didn't understand what he meant and it seemed that Lukas didn't either. Lukas told me that his mother passed away shortly after he was born so I guess that makes more sense of why Lukas didn't recognize his uncle." 

"Oh...I never knew that. I guess that explains somethings." 

"Ya..." 

Petra suddenly exclaims that she is keeping the sword. "But I thought it was too soft and too heavy," Jesse says. "Ehh it still may come in handy and it is SUPER flashy," Petra says.

Lukas POV

"Find anything," Jesse yells out. 

"I want to steal that," Axel exclaims gesturing to a shelf of potions, "And I just wanna touch that," gesturing to mushrooms. 

Jesse says, "Ohhhh take a look at this." 

"You're not gonna believe me but I swear I had a dream about this. Ok, potion I know this is a big step but I would be so honored if you came home with me," Axel says. 

Jesse tells him, "Come on Axel go make yourself useful and go find that skull." 

"I am, I am." Then he swipes the potion. 

"Uhhh that is legit doing the opposite of what I just asked you to do. There is no way he won't notice his fancy potion is missing," Jesse yells. 

Axel stupidly responds with, "A good thief always covers his tracks." Then he grabs a nearby potion with about the same color and says, "Fixed it." 

Jesse just rolls her eyes and walks over to me. "Find anything?" she asks me. 

"Uhhhh want an instruction manual on how to make a creepy villain lair using everyday objects," I answer. 

She giggles. I love her giggles, they are so adorable. 

"Just keep looking, we will be outta here soon...I hope." She tells me before pecking my lips and walking over to Olivia. 

I hear Olivia say, "He's no slouch when it comes to brewing, this is pretty advanced stuff."

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd this is where we leave off. Um, this is kinda long. Sorry, this took sooooooo long to update. I just had school and soccer and the normal excuses but here it is in all its glory. But what do you think? I'm pretty happy with it so ya. Also, thank you for about 400 READS.
