6TH MONTH
"Hey Babe."
"Are you gonna stay there for too long?"
"What about me?"
"I miss you."
"Don't you miss me?"
"Come home to me already."
"I'm still waiting even though I should be mad at you. I-"
His thoughts were cut off when a pair of warm hands slowly wrapped around his body.
Saint: Mom....
Mae Nuk: What are you doing here sweetie?
Saint: Thinking.
Mae Nuk sighed. She knows who he's thinking about.
Mae Nuk: Im happy that you got your energy back. It may not be entirely there, but I get to see you smile. It's what matters to me.
Saint answered with a hum.
Saint: Mom, do you think Perth still loves me when he comes back?
Mae Nuk looked at him with shookt eyes.
Mae Nuk: Of course he does! That shouldn't even be a question, dear. Don't tell me you-
Saint: No, mom.
He knows what his mother was gonna say.
Saint: I just wanna reassure myself that he still wants me after all this time. You know how much I love him mom, right?
Mae Nuk nodded.
Saint: It's been half a year. Still nothing. Even his fans are starting to suspect something. The media is starting to pester his agency again.
Mae Nuk: Leave them be dear. It's what the media wants anyway. Gossips and stuff. And Attractor is smart enough to build an agency for actors. So they most probably know how to handle situations like this.
Saint nodded.
Saint: He really caused a fuss over there. I'm gonna scold him when he gets back.
Mae Nuk: You do that. Making us worried like this. I wanna have that piece of scolding too.
They both smiled at each other and turned their gaze back towards the stars. They were both in the balcony, admiring the view of the night.
Mae Nuk: By the way dear, how's school?
Saint: It's okay mom. Nothing much to talk about. I have friends and i ocassionally talk to them when I don't have shoot or fanmeets. You know my grades too right?
Mae Nuk: Hmm. And you're doing well despite of your tiring schedule.
Saint: I have to. Or you and Perth would be disappointed in me.
Mae Nuk cupped his son's cheeks.
Mae Nuk: Whether you get good grades or not, I still love you no matter what. I am here to support and guide you in every decision you make. With the way things are now, Im more than proud of you. And I know Perth would be proud of you as well.
Saint smiled lovingly.
Saint: Thank you for giving me strength mom. Thank you for always being here for me.
Mae Nuk: I'll always be here for you, dear.
They hugged. Such a touching moment could melt anyone. It's what they both deserve. Their undying love for each other.
