Ellington's POV
Two weeks have passed and nothing has happened. Everyone has gone back to their normal routines but me. How could I? The girl I loved, the only girl I have ever loved doesn't remember anything. She doesn't remember me! I'm her boyfriend!! Ugh! Why did Rocky have to push her in. He's so stupid!!
Rydel and I were in living room watching a movie she put on. I wasn't really paying attention though. I was staring at her. Examining all her features, he profile. She was so beautiful, I couldn't help but stare.
"I'm home!" Riker's voice bellowed through the household.
"In here!" I called back. I hear feet shuffling, more than one pair of feet. I figured it was probably Ross or Rocky or Ryland. I didn't want to see Rocky though. I haven't talked to him since the accident with Rydel. I mean, he's tried, but I just can't do it yet. He's the one that made Rydel not remember me.
"Guys, this is my girlfriend, Carolyn!" He smiled brightly. Anger started to build up in me, I could figure out why, until the words were pouring out of my mouth like lava.
"Riker! I can't believe you went out and got a girlfriend while your little sister can't remember anything! You're so stupid! You're such an ass. I can't even believe you!" I screamed at him. Riker winced and shrunk into his body still grasping Carolyn's hand.
"The doctor said going about normal things so I did. Maybe you should. You're the one keeping her back from her memory. She doesn't love you anymore." Riker whispered. Not guilt in his eyes but hurt and hatred sure filled mine.
"Whatever! I'm leaving! Let Kylie know I went home." I shook my head. I took one last glance at Rydel and stormed home.
I couldn't believe what just happened. "She doesn't love you anymore."
Rydel's POV
"She doesn't love you anymore." Was playing through my head. It made me think of all the wonderful thigs I've done with Ellington. The fact that he didn't defend that makes me upset. I wanted to scream at Riker, tell him I still love Ellington. But that would mean giving everything up.
Truth is, I remember everything. I have been for a week and a half. I don't want to face reality yet. I don't want the huge party they are going to throw for me. I love how much Ellington cares, but I know he will feel the same way even if I tell him I remember stuff. I just have to face the facts. Plus tomorrow I have a doctors appointment and they are going to figure it out.
I let my body flop down on the couch while I was still watching a movie.
"Ooh, Rydel! Are you okay?" Riker came rushing to my side and picked me up.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine." I mumbled and scratched my head.
"I think I'm Rydel, by the way." I said directed towards Carolyn.
"Carolyn." She stuck her hand out to shake mine. I looked a little confused before I caught on. I couldn't do it right away. This is actually a lot of work.
"Nice meeting you but I, um, have to talk to the littlest blonde who lives upstairs." I said unsure of myself.
"Ross." Riker assured me. I nodded quickly and ran up the stairs. I walked around the hall hesitantly just in case someone came out to notice and once I was sure I found it, I knocked. No answer. I knocked again. I heard voices through the door.
"One second!" Ross called. Before I knew it he was at the door.
"Am I, um, interrupting something?" I asked, my face turning hot.
