I Want You To Know

First Day

It is officially the first day of school and I cannot express how genuinely happy I am! I'll get to go learn a lot of new things and with Misa too! Maybe I'll say hi to Elias while I'm there too. Not too sure if he likes me yet, but I'd love to be friends!

Oh, great it's the first day of school and I already wanna jump out a window. I thought I was excited, but I really don't want to leave the house. I get to see Saya at least. "BROTHER! WAKE UP YOU HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL!" Hayley barged into my room yelling at me. "OKAY STOP YELLING!" I yelled back as my dad walked into my room as well. "Okay it's way too early for you two to be going at it. Hayley come help me and let your brother get ready." He said winking at me as he took my sister into the kitchen. Nice save Dad.

I finally got everything ready and I am now good to go. I said bye to Serena and headed out! I'm so glad that this is such a small community because I love that I get to walk to my school. I get to people watch and look at some plants on the way. There's a pretty garden in front of the college you wouldn't notice unless you are walking. It's always so colorful so it's like the ground is a rainbow.

I left my house and headed out after eating some breakfast. I hate how close the school is because Dad won't take me down there. He's forcing me to walk to get use to being out here. Man..I really do despise being outside, but I guess I don't really have a choice anymore. If I had more time, I would definitely stop by the arcade for a quick bit before going to school, but I think I know myself well enough that if I go in there, I will never leave.

Okay..okay.. the time is now! I will make the most out of my new college life and have fun! Not too much fun though...I need my education. I walked to my classroom and immediately saw Misa sitting in the same seat looking out the window. No sign of Elias though so I guess he's just running late or I'm just early. I wanted to say hi to him.

I ran to school as fast as I could because I swear I would be super late. Quentin walked by me and laughed "why are you so out of breath?" I looked up at him while catching my breath. "Look I didn't want to be late!" I said fixing my glasses. Quentin laughed again and walked into the classroom "you're early dude." I looked at the clock immediately after he said that and let out a groan. I looked ahead and saw Saya talking with that Misa girl. I wanted to say hi to her.

Professor Arias walked in and I immediately straighten up. I didn't want him to think I wasn't ready to learn. "Sorry for being sorta late." The professor said to the class. "Well let's get started." I nudged Misa and smiled. "Are you ready to learn?" I whispered to her. "I guess..? I don't really care much. I'm just here to do the work and get my degree." Misa whispered back. "But you have to enjoy what you are learning so you won't sleep Misa!" Saya tried to whisper, but it came out kinda loud. The professor looked up and cleared his throat. "You seem eager to learn...um..Saya? Right.?" I immediately sat up straight since his voice startled me. "Yes sir! I'm sorry if I was being disruptive!" I blurted.

I looked over at Saya and smiled as she spoke. Wow... she's really pretty. "Something catch your eye?" Quentin whispered to me as he attempted to look in the direction I was looking at. "Oh... I'm just looking at Saya because it's rude to not look at the speaker in a class." I said hoping he would believe my obvious lie. "Oh yeah they used to tell us that all the time. I clearly didn't really listen to it." Quentin said as he chuckled. The professor looked over at Elias and Quentin as he cleared his throat again. "The first day hasn't even finished yet. Nor really officially started at that. Let's pay attention and I'm talking to you two up there as well." The professor said as he pointed at us. I hid my face quickly hoping Saya didn't see me.

He's cute. He's also very..hmm.. what's the word? Oh yeah! Interesting. I would very much like to know more about you Elias. "I see you looking by the way." Misa said as she leaned in and whispered to me. I looked at her and shook my head. "You couldn't even see my eyes." I whispered back. Misa chuckled and went back to looking at the professor. I sighed and went back to paying attention as the professor began the lesson for today.

"And that's all for today! Be sure to get your books from the book store and do your homework. I'm curious to what you all say." Professor Arias said to us all as he packed his bag. He assigned us this thing I guess you can call homework that tells the class fun things about yourself or whatever. I find it dumb, but I guess ice breakers will help him learn our names better. I wonder what Saya will be putting on hers..?

We all left the classroom pretty much immediately after class ended, but as I was walking with Misa, she stopped which made me bump into her. "Hey, there's your guy." She said gesturing with her head that Elias was in front of us. "I am very curious about him. Ever since the first day I met him and that other day at school also caught my curiosity." I said looking ahead to Elias. "Well if you really find him interesting. I say go over there and ask him to hang out." Misa said putting her hands into her pockets and smiling at me. "I-I have you know that I literally have no clue what to do when it comes to men! So like that's easier said than done!" I blurted as I started to feel nervous. "Luckily you won't have to approach him because he's coming over here. Interesting." Misa said as she slowly moved back leaving me in the front as he approached. I didn't notice that she did that.

"Hey! Saya!" I said as I finally mustered up the courage to talk to Saya. I saw Misa slowly moving away, so I was confused. Until I heard her voice.

"Hello Elias! How are you?" I said as I flashed him a smile. I hope that smile isn't too weird...

"Oh I-I'm doing good! Um, I wanted to...well..like...ask.." I COULDN'T GET THE WORDS OUT AND I WAS FREAKING OUT INSIDE OF MY HEAD.

I looked at him for a while as he fumbled his words. Which was cute. "Are you trying to ask me something Elias?" I said as I leaned in closer to him.

She got closer, and I had to slow my breathing down. "Okay. Okay. I was gonna a-ask if you wanted to like get coffee? O-one day?"

I was shocked that he asked me to get coffee. Did I ever tell him I love coffee? This is also the first time I've been asked to hang out..AND I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT IT! "YES!" I said as I grabbed both of his hands. "Where would you like to go? Or like when?"

I am sure my face is literally as red as an apple right now from her holding my hands. "Oh..um..well how about tomorrow?" I said hoping for another yes.

"I have to work tomorrow sadly." I said letting go of his hands. "But how about next week? When I know for sure what my schedule is?"

"O-oh..yeah! Yes! That definitely! That works!" I said as a smile of excitement came across my face. "Um would you like me to ask you at school next week? Or can I just..." I'M GONNA ASK HER! I'M GONNA ASK HER! "T-text you?"

"Texting will definitely be more convenient! Here let me see your phone so I can put my number in." I said as I extended my hand out to him.

"Oh yeah!" I said as I quickly got my phone from my pocket and handed it to her.

I've never given someone my phone number before! This is all new and very exciting! "Okay! Here you go! Text me whenever!" I said as I winked at him because I've always wanted to say that.

"W-whenever? Um..yeah! Definitely!" I said as I looked down at my phone with her number on the screen and back at her.

"I'll see you later! I'm sure Misa is getting tired of waiting for me." I laughed and started to walk away while waving.

I smiled at her as she waved at me. "Yes! I'll see you later too!" I said as I waved back. This is absolutely crazy. Like a dream. That I definitely never want to wake up from.

Elias is very interesting. He makes me laugh and feel happy. I'm unsure about a lot of things, but I'm very much looking forward to next week.
