After school I went straight home and I didn't realize that Quentin followed me. I saw him as I was walking and turned to see why. "Yo? Is everything okay?" Quentin jumped up at my sudden question. "Well you kinda started to just leave even though earlier in the day I told you I'd like to hang out." He said as he walked closer to me. "You did? I don't remember that.." I said scratching my head. "Well it's probably because you were too busy drooling over Saya." Quentin said as he started to laugh. "W-WHAT!?" I reacted like a scared cat. "I-I was not!" Quentin looked at me as I tried to defend myself. "You don't gotta hide yourself from me dude. I'm not gonna go tell anyone if you don't want me to plus it's not my business." He said as he smiled. "Well. I guess what do you wanna do? I was honestly just gonna head home." I said after shrugging off his confirmation. "Well you like games and I for sure like games so you wanna hit up the arcade?" He said gesturing to the street coming up. "Oh yeah we are close to the arcade.. Yeah! Sure! Let's go."

Once we hit the arcade Quentin and I were locked onto all the games we were playing. We couldn't get enough of playing all of these great fighting games. It was like we were speaking to each other, but through our in-game counterparts. It was a different feeling then when playing solo. By the time we realized it was already midnight. "Woah I gotta get home! I didn't realize the time." I said as I laughed. "No worries dude I gotta go home too so don't worry about that. Wanna stop by the store next door and get a quick drink?" He said as he started walking towards to door. "Yeah I am super thirsty." I said as we left the building and walked next door. I went to the back since the drinks I preferred were there and Quentin started looking at chips. As I grabbed my drink I closed the door and then out of literally thin air Misa appeared. It scared the absolute soul out of me. "Hello Elias." Misa said as she stared at me. "Um.. Hi Misa.." I said a little startled. "Do you live around here." She said still just standing there looking at me. "Oh.. I.. yeah I do? Why? And why are you just staring at me?" I asked as Quentin came up to us. "Hey Elias! Give me your drink I'll pay. Oh you're that girl that always sits next to Saya in class." Quentin said as he grabbed my drink. "Yes and I'm assuming you're that boy that always sits next to Elias in class." Misa quickly replied. "Haha yeah! I'm Quentin!" He said extending his arm out for a handshake. "Misa." She said as she shook her hand. "Well it was a pleasure Misa." He said as he went to go pay. "Are you excited?" She said as she looked back at me. "Excited? About what? My drink?" I said confused. "No. About your 'date' with Saya." She said with a slight smirk. "I-It isn't a d-date! I don't think.." I said as I started to think. "I'm watching you Elias. Don't forget that. Oh and your friend is waiting for you." Misa said as she walked away towards the register. I stood there for a bit and shook my head. I walked out with Quentin thinking about what Misa said. Does Saya consider this a date? "Yo Saya works at this store. I didn't know that! It's pretty cool." He said as he handed me my drink. "WHAT!? SHE WHAT!?" I said as I started to walk back in before Quentin grabbed my arm. "Dude you're a mess." He said as he laughed. "Relax and head home for the night. Don't get crazy and try to do something now when you have a great thing going." I heard what he said and stopped. "Yeah. You're right man. I won't mess this up!" I said as I put my fist out to him. "Haha rock on my guy! I'm rooting for you!" He said as we fist bumped. It's nice to have a friend like him from school. Having these kind of friends is definitely going to help keep me sane as I start to get better for sure.
