BELLA IS SITTING AT THE KITCHEN TABLE, eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch — waiting for Rory as per usual. Charlie saunters into the kitchen — ready to head off to work in his chief uniform.

    "Where's your sister?"

Charlie opens the cupboard, grabbing a bowl and pouring himself some cereal.

    "She can't find her favourite beanie and gloves."

Bella says as the father and daughter both hear subtle curse words coming from up stairs.

    "Damnit!"

Rory bounds down the stairs in her leather jacket, dark washed skinny jeans and her Timberland boots and enters the kitchen.

    "Any luck?"

Bella asks her sister only receiving a groan as she grabs her book bag.

    "No, lets just go. Or we'll be late."

Rory says and Bella stands as the twins make their way outside — Rory kissing her dads cheek before leaving.

"Bye dad!"

Charlie took Rory's car in this morning to get the tires changed so Bella said she'll drive them to school — saving Rory the embarrassment of riding in her dads police cruiser to school.

Rory hops into the passenger seat, pulling the mirror down and rubbing under her eyes — effectively getting rid of the mascara dots under her natural smoky makeup look.

She applies her nude glossy lipstick as Bella pulls out of the driveway.

    "Do you think Edward will be at school today?"

Bella mumbles to her sister leaning her head against her hand as she drove — The older Swan rolls her eyes at the mention of his name.

Rory would be lying if she said she wasn't holding a slight grudge against the most broody Cullen.

Ever since he disappeared from school a week ago, Bella seems to have fallen in a pit of despair, can't help but wonder if it was because of her that he wasn't going to school —  not that Bella would admit it.
