Today is the day for our first doctors appointment since we missed the other one and also the day we plan to tell Zeke and Kenlyn they will be God-parents !!! For now we are calling the baby a "flower bud". So our little flower bud has now been inside of Kennadi for 1 month now.
"Babe you ready to go?"
"Yeah I'm just finishing doing my hair, I'll be down in a minute"
"Ok imma go start the car"
While waiting for Kennadi to come down i texted Zeke and asked if they we down for lunch or dinner tonight
"Babe Zeke said lunch is better"
"Ok, great . How do you think they will react?"
"Hopefully great , you know they are always kind hearted"
"Yeah but I'm nervous, these will be the first people we tell about our flower"
"I get ya"
We pull up to the OB GYN office and i open the door for her and we go in. They gave us these papers to sign so they get all of our information in the system .
"I'm so ready to have my own OBGYN practice. I've always dreamed of having one"
"And you'll get it, i promise you that"
A few minutes later they called back
"Hello my name is Dr. Donna Brown and I'll be your OBGYN"
"Hello my name is Kennadi and that's Chris"
"Great to meet y'all , so you think your pregnant?"
"Yes mam"
"Well it's guidelines that we have to take a pregnancy test on you for ourselves so would please go into the restroom and urinate in the cup please"
"I'll be back"
"Ok now Chris how long has Kennadi been pregnant?"
"For like a month now"
"Alright has she been taking anything"
"Just her prenatal vitamins"
Kennadi came back in the room
"Let me go run the test I'll be right back guys"
A few minutes later
"You guys are indeed expecting , congratulations"
"Thank you"
"Now i will ask you to left up your shirt and lay back to i can do this ultrasound and take pictures"
"Alright"
"Annnnddd here is the fetus is"
"Look Chris it's our little flower bud" i said tearing up
"Yes it is"he said squeezing my hand
"Awee that's a cute nickname , how many copies of pictures would you guys like?"
"Uhh i think 8 copies would be great"
"Alright I'll go print those and be right back"
A few minutes later
"Alright y'all guys are all set so I'll see y'all in a month"
"Alright see ya later Dr.Brown"
In the car
"Are you ready to go eat with Zeke and Kenlyn"
"Yes because this doctors visit made it more real"
"Alright cause we're pulling up now"
At the table
"Hey guys how are y'all doing"
"We are good , we haven't been on a double date in a while so this was well needed" said Zeke
"Yeah and we're better cause that girl finally left my man alone" said a smiling Kenlyn
"Well I've been planting flowers in Kennadi's garden"
"Yep Babe then flower buds are definitely growing , i can't wait to see them grow"
"I wish Zeke would plant me some damm flowers"
"Girl hush you don't even like it when i cook so how imma plant flowers"
"That even make sense Zeke so shut up"
"Well we got a surprise for y'all" i said while handing them each an envelope
"Say each word out loud so we can hear y'all reactions"
"You don't know me quite well yet but i know we'll be a match made in HEAVEN so will you have the honor of being my Godparent? - flowerbud"
"Who the hell is flower bud?"
"Are y'all pregnant?" Said Kenlyn
We both nodded our heads
" OMG , we gotta go shopping like now , IMMA BE A GODMOMMY‼️‼️‼️‼️" she said while jumping up and down

"Yoooo its deadass an ultrasound , little man bout to get all the girls learning from his G-Dad"Zeke said popping his collar
"Thank you Zeke i think it's gonna be a boy but Christian thinks it's a girl"
"I agree with Chris , i need my princess to be stylin and profilin"said kenlyn
"We are actually calling the baby a "flower bud"

"Alright y'all ready to go ?"
"Yess, I'm ready to go see the movie SHAFT"
