Prolouge

Hi there! My name's Miles Kane, and I'm 19 years old. I currently live in Liverpool, England, but all that's about to change.

I met this guy at a pub in Sheffield a few weeks back. Well, more like I met the drummer of a band and he's introducing me to the frontman of the very same band.

His name started with an M. Max or Matt, summat like that. I probably should know his name before I pack up my life and take the train to live with him and his bandmate. But hey, sometimes risks are a good thing. It's not like I don't know him. We spent the whole night together. I even stayed the night with him and the next day we decided to buy me a one way train ticket from Liverpool to Sheffield. I gave him my phone number but I haven't heard from him since.

Currently, I live alone with my mum. It's been just the two of us since my dad left us when i was 5 or so. I really enjoy it here, but I think I'll be nice to give my mum a break from me.

I'm a pretty normal guy. I enjoy music, wrestling, and someday I wanna be in a band. I really enjoy football too. I support Manchester United now, but the team has gone down hill and I'm starting to fancy Liverpool more.

Oh also, I kinda have a really big secret. I'm gay. I've never told anybody before, and I don't really know why. But I'm hoping this move will help me accept who I am and maybe I can come out to my new friends.
