4 years later ~

It has been four years since I left my job at Jungkook's company and it has been three years since I debuted. I am a member and the maknae of a group called Red Velvet, my members are my unnies, I love my job and members and we became popular over the few years. Everything was going amazing, but I have to avoid a certain group, BTS.

When I left Jungkook's company, he left too but then debuted as a Kpop-idol before me, I was happy for him but I was going to debut too and I will eventually have to see him.

For the past years, I tried my best to avoid him and his group but how can I not, they have such amazing songs. I decided that I shouldn't talk or look at him but my inner self had the best of me, I kept on looking at him during award shows, he matured a lot. I have to admit, he looked amazing.

But today, it has to be the worst day, I have to be in the same room with his group. Our group was promoting Rookie while BTS was promoting Spring day. Music Bank asked us to do a collaboration with BTS. I have prayed for so long that this day would never come but apparently luck wasn't on my side.

Here I am, standing in the front row, in front of the camera. I may have a still composure but I swear, I was going crazy inside myself. This has been the first time I've been this close to him in a while. It was awkward between us since most of my members were dating his members and Joy unnie and me were the only one not dating. But Joy was close with everyone. But still, no one knew about our past.

He stand far away from me and looked nowhere but at the camera with an expressionless emotion, I could tell by the camera reflections. When it was my turn, I didn't know I would speak this fast, I didn't think anyone would have understand what I said.

After the session, we all said goodbye and went to our separate room. Well only me and Joy went to our room while the unnies went with the boys.

As we walked into the room, I layed down on the couch. 

"Is something wrong Yerim?" Joy asked. I think she knew something was going on, Joy unnie would never say my real name unless it is a serious situation.

"No, I'm fine"

"I know something was off, you never seem to be quiet when meeting another group. Actually you were always hesitant whenever we went to meet with BTS. Tell me whats wrong? I can listen and maybe help?" She said with a re-assuring voice.

I was hesitant before agreeing to talk. But then I realised, Joy unnie has been really busy with her new drama and if I tell her, it would only add more stress.

"Don't worry unnie, I'll tell you next time, you should get rest, you will probably feel tired" I said while showing her a comforting smile.

She nodded and went to lay on another couch.

After the music program was over, BTS won again and I was happy for them, they deserved it. We went back to our dorm, I quickly changed into comfortable pyjamas. I felt so tired, I wanted to sleep. But before I could sleep, there was notification message from a stranger. I opened the message.

From: XXX - XXX - XXX (ADD or BLOCK)

Hey, I just want to say I'm really sorry.
