Kirishima's PoV

I woke up from the slight movement of the mattress. I opened my eyes and saw Bakugou's naked muscular back. He was about to get up and had sat down on the edge of the bed. Immediately a little smile crept on my lips as I thought back to the last evening. Not even in my dreams would I have expected the strong dragonslayer to devote himself to me like that.

"Where are you going?" I asked him when he wanted to get up.

He looked down over his shoulder to me. "I just want to piss, stay down," he replied and leaned forward to get up. But he hissed painfully and let himself sink back onto the bed.

Immediately I straightened up and looked at him anxiously. "What's the matter?" I asked him worriedly.

He laughed easily. "I'm just sore. It's not bad, it just surprised me."

I bit my lips. Apparently I hadn't been particularly gentle and a guilty conscience spread throughout me. Bakugous saw my worried facial expression, turned around and bent down to me. "You don't have to worry," he said gently, placing one hand on my cheek and giving me a short kiss on the lips.

But the movement directed my attention to something else. I carefully grabbed his hand and stared at the dark marks on his wrist. Had my grip really been that tight? "Baku ... I'm sorry," I said quietly full of regret.

"Tch. Don't say that. I don't regret anything of it. Or do you?" he grumbled annoyed.

I pulled my eyebrows together confused. "No, of course not. But I didn't mean to hurt you. Don't worry, that won't happen again."

He shook his head and looked to the side for a moment. When he turned to me again, there was a slight shimmer of red on his cheeks, but his eyes sparkled amusedly. "But ... I liked it," he simply said and winked at me. Then he gave me another short kiss before he got up and finally went to the bathroom.

I couldn't help but look after him until he disappeared behind the door. Sighing, I also swung my legs over the edge of the bed. The sun shone brightly through the small window and revealed that it was already late in the morning. I looked around the small room and looked amused at the chaos we had left behind. Our clothes were wildly scattered and in front of the door lay the heap of things Bakugou had bought the day before.

Curious, I stood up and walked towards it. There were clothes, a new cape and thicker outerwear for the north. But underneath I saw something that particularly attracted my attention. Carefully I reached for one of the sword hilts and pulled it out of its sheath. Fascinated, I looked at the mirrored, sharply ground blade.

"Do you like it?" I suddenly heard Bakugou say behind me. I flinched and turned to him. "I bought them for you."

"For me?" I asked, noticing that my eyes were growing. I had never fought with a sword before, and certainly not with twin blades. Nevertheless I was thrilled when I swung one of the swords.

"I'll teach you how to deal with them. After all, you can't shift in every fight."

I smiled at him. "Thank you, that's great. What about your sword?

"This is still being made. We'll pick it up tonight. Then we should leave the city as soon as possible," he said.

"And what do we do till then? I would love to see the city," I said excitedly.

Bakugou rolled his eyes. "I don't mind. Then let's pack up all our stuff, then we won't have to go back tonight."

Bakugou's PoV

The whole day we roamed through the narrow streets of Ariko. While I lost patience more and more, annoyed by the many people, Red became more and more enthusiastic. At every second stand he stopped and looked with bright eyes at the goods and talked to the people. At first it made me a little nervous, but the merchants saw so many faces every day that I didn't think anyone would remember us.

But when dusk fell, I took Red by the hand. Mina was certainly finished with my sword and I wanted to leave the city as soon as possible. Red smiled at me as I interlaced my fingers with his and it warmed my heart.

When we entered the shop of the blacksmith, Mina was already standing at the counter. She raised her head and frowned as she saw me. I knew immediately that something was wrong. She crossed her arms and looked at me in silence.

"I need to talk to you, Bakugou. Alone," she finally said and went into the back room. Red looked at me confused from the side, but there was nothing I could do except shrug my shoulders and follow Mina.

As I entered the hot room of the smithy, Mina stood before me with her arms crossed. "Don't you have something to say to me," she asked me with her eyes narrowed.

Confused, I stared at her. What was she trying to suggest? "What do you mean?" I asked. A bad feeling spread through me.

"This morning, two guards came into my store asking for you. Because apparently the guards at the city gates two days ago let the famous dragonslayer Bakugou into town. But allegedlythe dragonslayer is missing. And allegedlyhe was kidnapped by a dragon on his mission. But you stand here before me, pretending that everything is all right."

"Shit, they're looking for me?" I cursed.

She raised an eyebrow. "What do you think? Aizawa seems to be very upset. He was about to go out and kill the dragon himself."

"Did you tell them I was here?" I frantically turned and peered through the door to Red, who waited patiently at the counter.

"I didn't. But you owe me an explanation," Mina said strictly.

I sighed and drove through my hair. "I was hunting and met Kirishima. The half dragon. He .... saved my life. We decided to move on together. He ... is a good person, I can't hunt him," I explained makeshiftly, even though I didn't have the words to properly express how much I liked my companion and how scared I was by the thought that someone could do something to him.

Mina stared at me. "You like the dragon's brood!" she cried out in disbelief, pointing towards the shop where Red was. "I don't recognize you at all! What has become of the cold-blooded dragonslayer I know?"

"Mina!" I yelled now, also upset. "Don't judge him if you don't know him!"

For a while she stared at me in silence before she hesitantly began to speak. "Okay. Then he has to convince me himself." She turned around on her heel and walked through the door back into the shop.
