Sinbad x Reader (Modern Au pt.2)

Woah! So unexpected, I actually have the mood and the time to update, again! Okay, enough, let's just go straight to the point. So this part is the continuation of (Sinbad x Reader modern Au), I don't know if this is going to be long or not but, let's just see where my imagination will take me.

2 months have passed since the day I last talk with Sinbad, since those days I become a working student at nighttime I go to school while at daytime I work to support myself, while studying at the University of Magi in hopes of achieving my dream job.

At 9:00am in the morning when my phone notify me that it was time to work, I pack my stuff inside my bag and comfortably exit the public library, heading towards my part time job which is unfortunately the cafe that me and Sinbad last seen or interact with each other.

I shook my head dismissing my thought about him and focus my attention to where I'm going, grabbing my phone out and plugging my (f/c) earphone on my ears shutting down my train of thoughts. I was just minding my business and listening to my favorite music when a guy suddenly bump into me forcing me to almost trip and toss my phone away from the impact.

"I'm so sorry!" The guy apologized holding my arm to support my balance. After 5 seconds to recover, I push him away as politely as possible feeling discomfort that some random guy is holding my arm.

"No problem." I replied to his apology, brushing my crumpled sleeves. Unbeknownst to me that the guy stood on his ground, studying my face.

"(Y/n)?! Is that you?"

I look up at the guy and stunned to see the tanned man with white hair wearing some rip jeans and fitted tee shirt, standing dumbfounded.

"Sharrkan?" I ask, unsure if this was the guy I met 2 years ago.

He grins and abruptly hugged me. Startled at his unexpected action, I stood there stiff like a pillar, unsure what to do. Thankfully he let me go and then again gave me a huge grin, his emerald eyes twinkled with joy.

"This is unexpected, but how are you doing?" Smiling I unplugged my earphones, putting it inside my bag and glanced at the guy who was scratching the back of his long colorless hair.

Sharrkan was my friend that I met 2 years ago when I unfortunately forgot my money at my home that I suppose to pay for the groceries that I bought. I was embarrassed at that time that I stupidly did not know what to do but when I almost want to return all the goods that I choose, he was there suddenly appears paying all my grocery without any problem. That was when we met and begun to hang out as friends, but then 7 months later Sharrkan left overseas to complete his degree. From the past 7 months when were still hanging out, I develop romantic feelings for him based on the erratic heartbeats when I'm near him, but I never got the chance to confess. But now, my feelings for him wasn't the same as before.

"I'm good, and I finally gotten the job I was dreaming for!" He exclaims his smile grew larger if that's even possible, even the aura around him shines so bright that you needed sun glasses to avoid getting blind.
