Chapter 4

Marcus POV

"Man that shit was crazy" my home boy nick said. We all sat at the lunch table and was laughing and talking about a basketball game that happened last night.

"Bruh what, the way Curry shot from the free throw line was epic" I said and they all agreed
"But he not the best point guard"mike said and everyone started yelling. Some was agreeing and some was disagreeing. Damn he just had to say that stupid shit to get everybody hyped and ready to debate.

As they are still going at it, I turned to look around the lunch room to see who was all in here. I look by the cafeteria door and seen Rose come in with some food that looks like she just bought. Damn shawty look sexy as fuck, but she probably ain't even feeling me. And I know she just broke the my home boy so I'm not really trying to get in to that. Lately she been looking depressed as fuck.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I see her walking towards me.
"Hey y'all" she said to everybody at the table. Everybody noticed and look towards her.
"Hey rose" everyone said in a weird unison. Then when everyone realized they bust out laughing. Shit I bust out laughing to cuz that shit is kind or crazy how everyone said it at the same time.

I seen her laugh as she took a seat in a empty chair across from me. She placed her food on the table and it smell good as fuck.

"Aye Rose what you got to eat" I said as she went in the bag that the food was in. She look at up me and smirked
"Some food for me"her smart ass said then laugh a little. She's always saying some smart or sarcastic. I smack my teeth because that was so obvious of her.
"But I have some vegetable rice, egg rolls and lemonade"she said while placing it on the table.
"O ok you better tell me" I said trying to irritate her. She stop what she was doing at look at me, with don't test me eyes. I laugh at her because she looked so serious then she calmed down a little.
"Boy bye" she said as she rolled her eyes and started to eat her food. I wanted to irritated her again.

So I reached over her food and grabbed a egg roll and took a bite. She looked at me with a shocked face which then turned angry. She got up so quick that I nearly had time to run. So I ran around the cafeteria knowing that she wouldn't catch me. But I'm not gone lie she was keeping up.

She eventually stop running and pouted like a little kid and stormed back to the table where her food was. The way she walk off I could tell she was pretty upset which made me feel bad.

I saw her get her food the head out of the cafeteria. Damn I really made her upset.

Rose POV
I grab my food and belongings and head back to my class in anger. I am so hungry and he just took my food without asking. I wasn't really tripping cuz he's kind of cute, but that still doesn't mean nothing.

As I go back into class I just started tearing up my food. It was way better than school food. As I'm almost done I see people start to come back in from lunch. They were all laughing and playing around while coming back from lunch.

I finished my food and went to the trash can to throw it away. On my way back I see Ms. Sofia looking at me in confusion. I finally reached my seat then I seen her coming towards me.

"Rosy I seen the way you came in here and looked upset, is everything alright." She said looking very concerned. I look up at her and smile because I'm glad she cares and is concerned for me but I was fine.
"Im fine someone just irritated me." I said to her.
"O ok" she said and smile. She walked to the front of the class to resume teaching.
