THE night dragged on as it was filled with dancing and drinking. Ellena stood next to Harry, she shifted her footing as she looked down feeling eyes trained on the two, more specifically Kelly and Will's.

"I need a drink." She said excusing herself and leaving Harry alone.

He looked to the two across them and clenched his jaw. He knew Ellena didn't want to do anything that would upset Kelly, but they were broken up. He didn't see why she wasn't acting on her emotions like he had been trying to show her since the break up.

Harry wasn't one to express his fondness in front of others, unless he was with the person alone. He never did PDA often with Kelly. But, since everything happened, he tried his best to show Ellena that he was still who he once was. That he hadn't changed; entirely.

He glanced over seeing Campbell at a table and raised his glass towards him.

Ellena sipped on her punch, wincing at the taste.

"You're with Harry." Kelly voiced up as Ellena turned around and stammered looking at her friend. "I'm here with Will."

Ellena nodded, "Yeah, uh, I saw. Everything looks great."

Kelly looked down biting her lip, "About what I said at your house in your kitchen."

"We're here only as friends." Ellena said, "That's it. I swear." Kelly nodded fiddling with her sleeves. "How are you?" She asked softly. "Um, Harry told me."

Kelly frowned looking down, "It's fucked." She nodded her voice wavering.

"I would've called earlier, but-"

"You were with Harry." She concluded.

"No, well, yes. But, that's not why. I would've called but I knew you were going to be here and I didn't want to ruin your night. Though, judging by your lack of the midnight blue mermaid dress, it's been ruined." She said softly.

"I had no right to ask you to not date Harry."

"It doesn't matter now anyways." Her eyes trailed to where Allie stood with Harry drinking. "You should go dance with Will." She said with a smile. "Go. And stop pushing him away. He looks at you like you put the damn stars in the sky."

Kelly nodded grabbing a cup of vodka from the table next to Ellena and chugged it.

Harry walked over to Ellena and held out his hand, "One dance." She said pointedly, Harry smiled genuinely as he twirled her into his chest.
