Chapter 9: Baby Is Coming

ON June 10th at 4 in the morning Sydney woke up she was having contractions Bucky was sleeping and she wasn't sure if they were the real thing or not. She climbed over him and went into their bathroom. She started to run some warm water. She stripped down and sat down in the water. 

She was doing her breathing exercises and moaning Bucky finally heard her. "Baby" he whispered then he didn't see her next to him. 

Then saw the bathroom light on he got up and went into the bathroom "Sydney baby what are you doing.." he said 

"Get your mom" she cried.through pain

"You are in labor what the hell are you doing in the tub." Bucky said

"Get your mom!" she yelled through pain.

"Okay okay I'm going baby." he said as he ran upstairs. 

"Mom.." he said as he ran up the other stairs.. "Mom.." he said as he got to their room "Yeah baby what's wrong." she said 

"Sydney..she's sitting in the tub in pain she said to get you." he said 

Winnie went running and into the bathroom of Bucky's room "Honey." she said 

She looked up at her "I can't move." she said 

Winnie said "James honey get on  your phone tell them to send EMTs and get your daddy up." as she got to the side of the tub. Winnie checked her cervix "Oh honey..I can feel her head." Winnie said

"What did you say" Bucky said as he hung up the phone. 

"Get your daddy and find me all my old towels." Winne said 

Bucky got his dad and his mom's old towels "Spread them out and get a pillow. James I need my dad's medical bag." she said 

James went upstairs and found her dad's old medical bag in her closet and disinfected it all. Bucky put Sydney's bra back on and a old blanket over her legs. He got her to sit up "You were suppose to wake me up." he whispred

"I didn't know that they were the real thing till thirty minutes ago." she said 

James came in and said "Disinfected it all.." 

"Good cause this baby is coming." she said 

"Ow..ow oh god Winnie something is happening."Sydney said through tears. 

Winnie looked down "Stop pushing.." 

Sydney screamed "Sydney baby.. stop pushing." 

"I can't help it." she said 

Winnie got her gloves on and started to deliver her grand daughter as Sydney screamed then stopped when she heard Cadence cry. "Oh my god.." she whispered Winnie clamped the cord and Bucky cut it James got her cleaned up and brought her back to Sydney and Bucky. 

"She's perfect..and has mama's hair." Bucky said 

Sydney smiled and said "I know I"m so excited."

The EMTS took them to the hospital and got them both checked out and sent them home the next morning where their friends came over to visit them. Sydney was breastfeeding her when Bucky brought them downstairs. "Whoa um Buck." Sam said 

"What she's eating the other one is covered." he said 

"Damn Syd your boobs got huge." Nat said

"It's called milk Nat." she said as she fixed Cadence's blanket to make the boys more comfortable.
