Once I made it back into my bed chambers after my experience in the dining hall, I began to remove my dress and my under garments. Slipping into a soft night gown, the fabric a bit thin, my breasts poking through. Which had made me feel very vulnerable even though I was the only one in the room.
I walked to my window and placed my hands on the cold stone as I stared into the night sky, the cool wind sending chills throughout my body. All of a sudden a knock rings through the room and I expected the old woman, so I walked over and opened my door. I was shocked to see Jon Snow standing there, his eyes lowering from my eyes to my breasts that were clearly showing through my gown. I immediately covered myself with my arms to shield myself the best that I could. He quickly looked back up at me, his eyes and face showing pure embarrassment but as I looked more into his eyes I saw curiosity. "Oh.. please come in." I said as I stepped aside to let him in. He stepped into my chambers, looking strong with his thick wolf pelt covering him. I closed the door behind him and walked back to him, grabbing a cloak to cover myself.
I looked at him awaiting something to come out of his mouth, my cheeks blush red due to the previous embarrassment. I crossed my arms over my chest trying to regain some of my dignity. "I truly wanted to apologize for how my men acted..." he said in a strong northern accent and I could hear the disappointment in his voice as he continued on. "Ever since I became king I have tried my hardest to treat everyone in the North equally and with respect. That's why I saw to it that you had your own bed chambers. To see my men treat a guest in such a disgraceful way hurt me." As he spoke I could see the pain in his eyes, clearly he was hurt and he most definitely cared for the North and it's people. I approached him and placed his hands in mine, my eyes darted all over not knowing how to act. "It's alright my lord. Men will be men." I said with a hurtful laugh as my eyes looked up at him, being so close to him I could see the stress on his face, his beard and his eyes. He looked sad still, his eyes looking at our hands before I quickly took mine away as I felt I had broken a boundary. "It's not alright. I'll have guards stand by you during your stay and I will do my best to ensure this doesn't happen again." He said, both of us nodding to each other.
I stood in my bed chamber as I watched him turn to leave, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. He walked with a strong posture and I couldn't take my eyes off him until he was out of sight. I looked down at my hands, thinking it strange how he cared so much but it was very noble. I shook my head and removed my cloak, making my way into my bed.
