I know every inch of him, as he does with me. I know the slope of his jaw, the soft plumpness of his lips, I know how his hair feels, running through my fingers. I know the curve of his spine, and the way his arms feel wrapped around me. I know how he says my name, with such love, and care, and I know that nothing could change this. I know how he kisses me, starting at my forehead, and trailing kisses down my nose until reaching my lips in a deep kiss. I know how he sleeps, when the worries of the day fade away, and he is at peace. I know how he sings, his fingers strumming his instrument as he lifts his voice to the heavens. I know how he smiles, when he thinks I'm not watching, giving sweet smiles to the animals of the forest. I know how he cries, and I know how he takes care of me when I cry. He knows every inch of me. He knows the shape of my brow, and exactly how his hands fit around my face. He know the width of my chest, and my arms beside it. He knows how I wake him up with a soft kiss in the morning, so we can have breakfast with the sun. He knows how my hands carefully hold a piece of wood and a knife, to carve yet another statue of his unending beauty. He knows how I say his name, full of wonder and love. He knows how I am when I sleep, my chest rising and falling, his arm wrapped around me. He knows me, and I know him, and together we are happy. And together we will stay this way. In sickness and in health, in darkness and in light. We are together, and that is what matters.
