That's when I saw him.

......

He was tall maybe 6'3" with a nice build and lean body. His hair a dirty blonde and fixed in a sexy messy look, it came to the middle of his forehead and touched the top of his ears, a golden tan graced his skin with a barely noticeable touch of red on his cheeks and nose evidence that he's been in the sun for a while, his eyes were a chocolate brown and were framed with dark blonde lashes. He had full light pink lips and a nose that barely hooked at the tip. He was overall gorgeous and he was starring at me, and I was starring back. I mean how could you not stare at him he looks like a Greek god in his black v-neck shirt that clung to his muscles that were big but not gross and his low hanging jeans. -God I think your missing an angel.-

I remained glued in position unable to look away. It was as if he put a hex on me that would not allow me to look away -which I would totally be fine with- from those beautiful brown eyes. I was entranced in his beauty, fascinated by his body, and curious as to what his lips felt like and how they would feel against mine.

I looked to them, and in that moment the right corner of his mouth tilted up slightly into a smirk then slowly into a dazzling smile that showed off his pearl white teeth. -is there no end to how perfect this guy is?!-

He began moving in my direction as if he was coming to me, but he didn't make it far before his friends purposely bumped into him and dragged him the opposite way.

I let out the breath I didn't even know I was holding and turned back around when he was no longer in sight.

Beep.

"5 minutes and 45 seconds."

"What?" I looked at Evangeline with my left brow cocked.

"That's how long you held your breath. I got bored and was messing around with my timer and it just so happens that I hit start at the exact time you held your breath. I was starting to get worried that you would pass out. So what was that?"

"I don't even know."

"Bye I'll see you later after my date." Evangeline said as she dropped me off. I waved back and she pulled out the driveway.

I passed my bike and walked up the trailer steps then opened the door to find my mother drinking a beer spread out on the couch. I glanced at her and kept walking, not even bothering to talk to her.

"Well how was school?" She said slurring her words, the effect of the alcohol hitting her.

"Good." I spat out coldly.

"Really now?"

"Yes, any reason why you suddenly care?"

"No not really. Just thought I'd be a good mother and ask."

I turned around slowly to look at her. "You? A good mother? You really know how to make me laugh."

"Excuse me?" She questioned putting her bottle down and getting up.

"I didn't stutter."

"You better watch it little girl." She said with a slightly menacing tone to her voice but it had no effect on me.
