Chapter 4: The Fight
Carlton's POV:
After I had finished telling Juliet the story of what had happened between me and Marlowe, I started to feel a little bit better. Not very much. But luckily I timed it just right because after I had told her how I wanted Lily to grow up and be a cop, but Marlowe didn't like that, Shawn and Guster walked through the front door. "Lassie" I heard Shawn say while throwing his jacket on the ground. I rolled my eyes. "Good to see you, buddy" Gus said. Juliet stood up and walked towards Shawn. Then she started whispering to him, but I couldn't hear her. Shawn slowly looked at me and then back at Juliet when I made eye contact with him. "Yeah. Sure. No thing sweetheart" Shawn said while giving er a kiss. I still can't believe they're still together.
"Hey. Carlton. If you need to you can stay here with us, util you work it out with Marlowe." Juliet said with a comforting gesture.
"Um" I thought about it real hard. I didn't really want to stay in a hotel, but I also didn't want to intrude on Shawn and Juliet. "Sure I'll stay." Then Juliet led me to her guest room.
