Jeonghan woke up at an unfamiliar room. All he sees were lab gowns, stethoscopes, dirty clothes scattered on the floor, and Minji struggling beside him. Nakayakap ito sa kaniya kaya umarangkada na naman ang puso niya.

❝S-sorry,❞ They said in unison.

❝Why are you saying sorry?❞ Minji asked before she squinted her eyes.

❝For waking you up. Ikaw, ba't ka nagsosorry?❞ Jeonghan beamed, as he sat next to her. Nasa kama pa rin sila ngayon, not minding all the trashes beside them.

❝F-for ano. . .uhm, for hugging you,❞ Namula ang pisngi ni Minji kaya natawa ng konti si Jeonghan, ❝—Yah! Akala ko unan e! Tara na nga magkape!❞

Sumunod nalang si Jeonghan kung saan pupunta si Minji. She was heading to the hospital's cafeteria. Umupo na silang dalawa sa isang table matapos umorder ng breakfast meal.

❝Han,❞ She called him, ❝You don't have to do this for me. Mapapagod ka lang.❞ Alam na ni Jeonghan kung ano ang tinutukoy nito kaya ngumiti siya.

❝Okay lang 'yon, para hindi ka na madistract kay Joshua.❞ He lowered his voice but unfortunately, Minji heard it.

❝I know, Joshua's distracting you. Ever since. Kaya please, Minji,❞ He heaved out a deep breath, ❝Stop thinking of him. Stop meddling with his own probl—❞ Hindi na niya natapos ang sasabihin niya dahil pinigilan siya ni Minji.

They can't remember the date when they started being friends. Ever since then, they were very close, pretty inseparable, kaya alam na din nila miski ang tinatakbo ng isip ng isa't-isa. But now, Jeonghan doesn't know what's with her and what's on her mind at the moment.

Minji's expression was unclear, but she faked out a laugh, ❝Do you think he's a distraction to me, Jeonghan?❞ Her voice, calm and very comforting, but Jeonghan, on the other hand, natatakot siya kapag ganon nalang kakalma ang boses nito. ❝Wala kang alam. Palibhasa hindi ka pa nagmamahal e.❞

He was taken a back by that. She never really knew. That right from the start, it was her. The reason why his heart goes wild. The reason why his heart melts everytime.

Walang lumalabas na kahit ano sa bibig niya. It was like he's letting her speak, kahit pa ramdam niya ang galit nito sa kaniya.

❝Mahal ko 'yon, Jeonghan. Higit pa sa pagmamahal mo sa kaniya bilang kaibigan. No matter how hard it is to love someone like him, kinakaya ko. Mararamdaman mo din 'yan. Kapag nagmahal ka. Pero wala e,❞ Her tears started to rush out of her eyes, ❝Sa ngayon kasi, hindi mo pa ako naiin—❞

❝Naiintindihan ka niya. Kaya nga siya nandito e. Kasi ikaw 'yung mahal niya. Ikaw, ikaw ang distraction niya. Kaibigan ka niya eh.❞ Someone interrupted their conversation.

❝Bakit ka nandito?❞ Minji asked that person, kaya ngumiti ito sa kaniya.

❝I was supposed to have a good meal but you started a petty fight here at the cafeteria, what a shame,❞ Hailey said, placing her tray on the table, and then faced Jeonghan, ❝Baby, sabi mo titingin tayo ng location ng bahay ngayon, why are you here?❞

On the other hand, Hailey finally let go of his hands as soon as they reached her car. She plastered a smile on her face that made him smile as well.

❝Ang galing ko umacting, shet.❞

❝Thank you. Pwede bang magpahatid na sa dorm?❞

Hindi na umimik si Hailey saka hinatid siya sa dorm nila ng tahimik.
