Hailey just got off their conference room after the meeting. She massaged her temples to suppress a little amount of pain she felt, while walking towards her office.

❝Yejeong, kanino galing 'to?❞ She asked her secretary, after seeing a bouquet of white flowers on her table.

❝Hindi ko alam Mam! Pinadeliver lang 'yan, nakapangalan sa inyo.❞ Her forehead creased, pero lumapit siya doon at nakita pa ang card na nadoon a bouquet.

❝Yejeong..❞ She warned.

❝Oo na Mam, tatahimik na.❞

Ramdam niya ang pamumula ng pisngi niya. Her lips curved, forming a smile. Pero agad iyong nawala nang magulat siya sa pagriring ng phone niya.

Her heart pounded fast when she saw Jeonghan's caller ID on the screen. She wasn't that hesitant to answer his call, so she pressed the accept button quickly.

❝Hi, Hails.❞

❝....❞

❝Are you still mad at me?❞

❝Hey.❞

❝Hindi mo ba nagustuhan 'yung flo—❞

❝I..I like it. Thank you.❞ Hindi niya alam kung bakit siya nautal, pero alam naman nating kinakabahan siya dahil sa presensya o boses ni Jeonghan.

❝Pfft.❞ Hailey cannot help herself but to laugh at Jeonghan's statement. He sounded like a kid who fought with another kid because of a candy.

❝Y-yah, why are you laughing?❞

❝Sino bang nagsabing magkaaway tayo?❞ She asked. He remained silent but she heard him sigh afterwards.

❝I thought you'll turn me down.❞

❝Haha. You thought. But it wasn't the assurance that I'm gonna say yes to you sooner.❞

❝Oo na, oo na. Basta, susunduin kita mamaya.❞

❝Sige na. Bye.❞

She ended the phone call and continued scanning the blueprints on her table. Pinirmahan niya rin ang ilang papeles na kailangan ng bago nilang kliyente.

❝Tara na?❞ Jeonghan asked him as soon as he went off his new car. Nakadisguise siya, malamang, dahil malapit na silang magcomeback at hindi maganda ang kalalabasan kung may issue na lalabas.
