The Slime (Old Story)

The infected Chapter 2

John Roger here. We just started our journey to The Were Village to save The Denzel Sister's tribe from this infection called Slime. I asked for just Fo to come with me to help me protect them, but Ko demanded that she should also come and I said,"Ko, I just need Fo to help me protect the sisters. You're much shorter then your father and not as strong."but that must've offended her because she tried to attack me and luckily missed then Fo shouted,"Ko! Stop!"then she looked at Fo and said,"But I AM strong, Father! I can protect them just as well!"but then Neci shouted"Enough! I'm going with them! You two are not strong or quick enough to survive this disease.  I will take care of it personally. And I've already talked to Father and Mother about it; they know I must take revenge on this slime for the pain it has caused.". I looked at her a lil worried and said,"But what will happen here? What about your people? Who will lead them?"then she said,"Mike and The Wolf Brothers will lead; they are part of the royal family, John.".

Personally, I would have liked Sharp to join me on this journey, but Neci seems to try and put every responsibility on herself; I don't see why she should since I'm skilled enou--"Because it is my responsibility as future queen to protect my subjects, the lost ones, and my family. I must protect you and the sisters from this virus. Besides, I'm dead; it probably wouldn't want my body anyway."and I looked at her a lil surprised; forgetting that she can read peoples minds, but she said she can only read of people around her and only uses it in emergency security breach. I guess there's nothing I can do to change her mind. So, I looked at Tala and Teigra asked if it was ok and Tala said,"Yes, Mr Roger. Princess Neci sounds as strong and brave as the white eyes, but she seems more serious them."then I said,"Yes, she is but I hear The Guardian was just as serious. I heard a rumor he cared for a emotionless entity that later split up like a cocoon and tried to teach it love and understanding. It was complex I hear. I don't know if it was ever true.".

Hmm. Seems they never heard of this before; but then I guess they've never ventured outside their village on their own or of their own freewill. Anyway, after we convinced it was best for The Kos to stay and protect the king and queen, we traveled on horseback and followed them to where the village is. I kinda wondered where these Were people came from, but then it's a question humans wondered about many things in the world; like how can a dimension just appear and there'd be a kingdom in it. We finally reached the edge of the forest, but then Teigra spoke sounding worried,"Wait. What happened? This can't be home. Everything seems green and-- *sniffs* Odd. Tala, do you smell that?", then Tala took a whiff and she looked at Teigra and said,"That smells like... honey. That's kind of odd." then I spoke,"But aren't bees common in woods or forests?"then Tala said,"Well, the bees here don't usually go near the edge of the woods; our area has lots of sweet flowers. But, that's not the odd part. It's weird that there's such tall and green trees and dripping of odd green sap.", then I noticed the trees was dripping of some green liquid like it was sweating. 

Neci then said,"It must be the slime. It must be starving and had to adapt so it could get more protein. I just hope we're not to late.", then we rode off in to the woods and searched for the village. As we went through the woods, everything just seem to be  too slimy to touch and somethings seem too toxic to smell. How can the slime do so much damage? I thought about something then asked Neci,"Neci, is it possible for the animals to be effected by these transformation?", then Neci, looking cautiously around her, said,"Well, John, I'm no biologist or Ethologist, but I can assume that it will try to effect any animal it comes across; especially big animals. So, if we don't want these horses infected we better start to eradicate the slime from this part of the woods.". 

So, we fed the horses some fruits just in case any slime try to attack it; with some juice from a gallon jug we brought with us, we started watering roots of the trees with mix of water and juice. We then waited a few minutes and saw the trees and grass seem to be turning to normal and shirking. I looked at the sisters and Teigra was jumping with joy and Tala was smiling happily. Hmm. Wonder if the wine can fix this problem, too? "John!"I heard Neci yell and I looked at her as she noticed I had wine with me and she sighed then said,"John, I know the wine has fruit in it, but it won't help us in our situation. Besides, I don't need a cucumbered, discombobulated, and drunk as a skunk soldier. You get rid of that bottle or I'm sending you back to the castle, John.".
