Lexi DeForest is an art thief (although she insists that's she's more of a collector). A lover of everything unique and rare, she runs an art-and-antique restore shop in Manhattan, a few blocks from the Avengers Tower. Although Lexi enjoys working with physical items, her specialty is "recovering" rare and expensive paintings, her shop a cover-up for her illegal nighttime activity.
When she hears the Avengers have recently acquired a rare Picasso painting, Lexi hatches a plan to steal it. Everything is going smoothly as she breaks into the Tower, and she would've gotten away with the painting too, had she not been spotted by a certain genius billionaire who only waned to make himself a midnight cup of coffee before going back to work.
