The first time Leonardo Taiga Akatsuki-Barnes met Daisuke Rejean Hiroaki was during a morning run. It was his first day in college at MIT and being across the country from his family made him a little anxious and worried. Leo knew that he wouldn't have to worry for his family, but he couldn't help it, especially about his sister and his mother. After the accident, Leo promised to himself that he would never let Phoebe get hurt again, but now that he is in college, it is harder to fulfill that promise. So to get his mind off of things, he woke up at dawn, change into some running gear and made a dash for the cool outdoor.
And for his loving and precious mother. Leo could feel the agonizing pain cutting deep in his heart when he thought about his ill-mother; the person that supported him no matter what he did or what he want to do. She had joked at one point that if Leo become a drag star, she would go to every of his performance. With his mind on the thought, the freshman's soul eased up a little.
While on his run, Leo made notes of the different building on campus where his classes are held and other significant places. As he move to jog along the Charles River, the tall lad saw a figure sitting and looking out to the river. Next to the said figure is grown, and incredibly large, Rottweiler. Leo slowly approaches the person to find a very attractive tall man. The said man, seeing Leo approaching, stood up and faced him. Leo noted the man's tall figure as he towers over the said freshman - who is around 6'0ft - with a drool worthy body that any girl would swoon over. Impeccably toned in the right place that doesn't make him look like someone on steroid or someone that is thin like a toothpick.
"Can't sleep?" The said man questions, his baritone voice resonance in Leo's mind and heart.
Leo nods, trying to hide his sheepishness, "Trying to get my mind off home."
"Homesick?"
"More like worried to death about my kid siblings at home," the brown hair, green eye student replies laughing lightly.
The taller man with gorgeous silver hair that was tied into a man bun - making Leo unconsciously licked his lips - chuckles, "Troublemakers then."
Leo smiles gently, "Two of them are. The other two are usually quiet, but could be stupidly cunning when they want to. The youngest got into an accident a few years ago and became blind so....yea."
"I'm sorry," apologizes the silver head, "It must be tough."
Leo shrugs as he himself then stare out at the Charles. "It was at the beginning but we got through."
"All brothers I presumed?"
"Youngest is a girl actually," Leo grins fondly.
The man then smiles, "She must be very headstrong to be able to deal with you brothers."
Leo chuckles once more, "Sure is. Plays tennis like our mother and whoop our asses like her too."
The man then asks, "May I ask how old?"
"Ten."
The two then stand in a comfortable silence before Leo breaks out and laughs sheepishly, offering his hand, "I'm so sorry for not introducing myself first. Leonardo Barnes, freshman undergrad. And you are?"
Taking Leo's hand in his callous one in a firm shake, the man replies with a dashing smile, "Daisuke Hiroaki, freshman undergrad as well. I'm computer engineering major. What major are you?"
