Chapter 15

Selena POV

Two days. In two days, I'm getting married to someone who I feel that I was sold to.

There's no way of stopping this now, only if I run away. But I'm just not that kind of person.

"You should be in bed by now, love"

"I'm not tired. I just want to stare out at the night sky with you, even if it is boring" I told Zayn, earning a chuckle from him as he kisses the top of my head.

"Zayn?"

"Hmm?" he hums, stroking my side softly with his hand.

"What is the other side like?"

"What do you mean, love?"

"You know, outside these walls from the mansion. How is it like out there?"

"Well, there's space" he shrugs, making me slightly chuckle as I cuddle more into his chest, staring up at the bright full moon.

"If only you knew how it felt being trapped in here. Never getting to go to a public school when homeschooled, never going out to shop, Ariana would of love going out to shop..." I nodded, my eyes roaming around at the stars with the moonlight shining down at the both of us.

"I never even gone out for a damn walk for pete sake"

Zayn chuckles, kisses my forehead twice before looking down at me with that attractive smirk of his.

"If I could, I would sneak you out these walls, at least just once. You know, to see you live for once and show you what you've been missing all these years" he tells me, looking up at the night sky as I furrowed my eyebrows.

Sneak me out, huh? At least once.

"Then lets do it"

"Do, what?"

"Sneak out, let's do it"

"You're kidding, right?" Zayn unwraps his arm from my shoulder, looking at me as I sit up and shake my head.

"I'd be lying if I said I was. No."

"Are you crazy?! There's over a hundred security guards out there guarding this place. If either one catches me try to sneak you out, I'm done for sure and so are you"

"I don't care Zayn, I just want to be with you at this moment"

"Selena, no-"

"Zayn, please! I have two days left until that day comes. I'm not about to waste those two days on crying, I want to spend those last two days with you" I told him, cupping his face with my hands, my brown orbs staring into his hazel ones.

He sighs, running his fingers through his hair and shaking his head.

"I don't know Sel, it's risky"

"Please Zayn, I only live once, and that once is now. Even if it is only for tonight, at least it's with you" I told him, begging with all of my desire to convince him.

He looks at me, still speechless and undecided.

"Please?"

He sighs, looking down as he shakes head before looking up at me.

"Okay"

I watched as Zayn climbs down from the fenced rose wall, seeing him jump off as he lands safely on the grass ground.
