I turned and gave him a confused look

"Yh obviously" I muttered sarcastically as I turned away

"No ,wait ,serously. Look nahla I really like you" he said coming to my front

"Oh okay, if pestering me and annoying the shit out of me and trying to make me cry means you like me then ,yh sure OK " I said

"Look I only do that because you have nerves"

"Excuse me" I muttered

"What I mean is that, everyone in this school fears me except you , you are the only one who has the nerves to come to my front and say what you want without stammering. It made me want to see you grumble, it made me want to see you cry I thought if I made you cry then I would feel success for making you fear me but when I saw you crying the other day it made me realise that that's not what I want, I really don't want to see you cry"he said looking into my eyes

He gently cleaned the tear, looking at me waiting for a response

"And please stop trying to be something you are not" he added
"Why do people think trying to be something am not" I spoke for the first time

I slowly moved back and walked away but he didn't follow me

I went looking for feenah ammar and amir and luckily I found them the moment I opened the door
I went and dragged them all out of the house and to the parking lot

"Where are you taking us" ammar asked

"Yeah" feenah and amir said in unison

"We are going back home I can't stay here any longer" I said

"But nahla the party is just getting started " feenah began
"Yeah I heard deen squad are coming" amir added
"And so we are goin g home and that's it " I said like an order

"So you guys are going home but believe I won't miss this party for the world" ammar said almost to serious like he has been waiting to say it for a very long time
He turned around and made his way back to the party
"Ammar wait for me; amir yelled

" bye nahla"he added eyeing meand walking away to catch up to ammar

I turned to look at feenah giving her a meaningful look

She pouted

"Sorry Nahla" she said and walked back into the party leaving me all alone

I angrily went to the car I opened the door and was about to enter when someone grabbed my hand, I turned and I saw the person

"Just try to change OK", Affan said

I quickly removed my hand from his grip and entered the car

On getting home I rushed to my room avoiding mamys questions
I sat down thinking

Am I really arrogant?
Am I really like muna?
To the extent that my friends don't like me anymore.
Even Adnan and Affan think am arrogant and ruthless at least they came to tell me am sure people have been saying a lot
