I walked slowly to the mirror and looked at my know puffy eyes with bags underneath them,I grapped my scarf and made my way downstairs. On getting there what I saw made my heart crash,it was Mamy she was crying
Why?

"Mamy, what's wrong" I asked going to sit beside her.I help her hand and patted her back
I was about to speak again when she opened her mouth
"It,s najib ,he is gone" she said
"What do you mean he is gone" I asked frightened
"He has gone back to dubia" she altered
"What!,why?why would najib go back oooh no this is all my fault" I said
Why did I tell him that he wasn't important now he is gone
"No Nahla its my fault when he came back yesterday night I told him somethings I shouldn't have" mamy said
"Mamy what did u say to him"

"Flashback "

Najib entered the house angry "what's wrong with Nina" he thought when he heard the sound of someone sniffing he looked around and his eyes landed on his mum
"Mamy ! " he exclaimed moving towards her
"Mamy ,what's wrong" he said putting his hand on her back
She looked at him and the tears kept flowing
"Mamy say something" najib pushed
"Najib ,I want farhan back" she said hugging him and breaking down more
Najib froze"what" what is wrong with all this people

"Najib pls talk to your father to bring back my son"mamy said
" what are you saying mamy,he disgraced you and brought shame to this family and you still want him back"Najib snapped angrily
Mamy looked up staring at her son in disbelief
"Najib he has changed ,I swear all you need to do is to convince your father and beg him to return my son,please najib" mamy said
"No Mamy am sorry but I can't help you he dient deserve your forgiveness" he snapped angrily
"What" mamy said dragging him back
"Yes mamy he doesn't deserve to be forgiven he is a monster and as long as I am in this house there is no way am going to allow him to come back in......" Najib didn't get to complete what he was saying before mamy's hand came in contact with his cheeks
"I didn't expect this from you najib and if you know you won't be able to live in this house with your brother then maybe it will be better if you leave because my son is coming back to me even if you like it or not" mamy spat angrily and left before he could even compose himself

"End of flashback "

"Oh my god mamy,I did something similar yesterday night before he came home" I said almost in tears
"Oh my god where is he" mamy said cleaning her eyes
"Wait let me ask Affan" I said getting my phone
He picked in the second ring
"Hello,Nahla are you okay?I have been calling you but you haven't been picking. You left without are word are you okay" he said all in one breath
"Yes,am fine . Sorry for leaving like that I didn't mean to and my phone was on silent so I didn't get the call" I lied.
"Oh okay good I was so worried I thought something happened to you" he said
"Nothing happened am fine,eehm I want to ask you something please" I said

"Yeah sure" he said
"Can you please call najib and ask where he is" she said
"Oh he called me today saying he is catching a flight to Dubai I asked him why but he didn't answer" Affan said
"Oh geez,he is in Dubai" i said looking at mamys worried face
"Yes,what's wrong.." Affan asked
"Eehm nothing bye I will call you later" I said
"No wait tell me are you okay?
Please talk to me,please Nahla I need you to trust me" he said with pain in his voice and I imagined him with a pout
If I don't tell him then who will I tell.
Adnan"my inner voice said
No he lied to me.I hate him
But Affan has always been by my side
I think its time I made a wise decision I said to my self taking a long breath and began

"Affan I will tell you everything..." And she narrated everything to him
