First things first: This ritual implores the help of a spirt to lift someone off the ground with only a few fingers. There are two versions of this game. One is a little harder and more serious, the other is pretty easy.
Method One (the hard one): Gather six people. One person lays down on the ground with their arms crossed and eyes closed. They must stay as still as possible and not speak, no matter what happens. The rest of the people position themselves around the person. Each person sticks two fingers under the person. (One person per leg, two at the torso, and one at the head.) The person who sits by the person's head must make up a story about how the person died a horrible death. Or everyone says this chant in unison: (She's ill.x4) (She's looking worse.x4) (She's dying.x4) (She's dead. x4) {substitute in proper pronouns. Also, the "x4" just means say each thing four times.} At the end of the story or chant, everyone chants "Light as a feather, stiff as a board." The person on the ground must stay still. While chanting the players must lift the person off the ground with only the two fingers. The person should be unnaturally easy to lift.
Method Two (the lazy way): Gather five people. One person sits down on a chair or bench or whatever. Each person puts two fingers under the person. One person per leg, and one for each arm. Try to lift them up like this. You probably can't. Now take your hand and hover it above the persons head. The next person in the circle puts their hand above yours, but not touching. You go around until everyone has both of their hands in the hand tower. Everyone must then count to ten in unison. Everyone takes their hand out of the tower, one at a time starting with the top hand. Now everyone attempt to lift the person the same way as before. They will suddenly seem very light and you will be able to lift them.
