•2 and a half years later•
"Flight 2716 from Busan, arriving in block 6. Welcome to Seoul, passengers of Flight 2716."

The airport was mobbed with travelers when we stepped off the terminal. After a restless 3 hour flight, we had finally landed in Seoul. Beside me, my brother Taehyung looks around in wonderment.
"Welcome to Seoul, Jimin-hyung!" He grinned excitedly, bouncing up and down.
"It's about time!" I grumble and scrub at my eyes.

Seoul looked like a far cry from the small town we had grown up in. When I glanced out the enormous glass windows lining the side of the airport, a vast city skyline greeted me. The airport itself was massive, lined with stores in every corner.
I was probably going to get lost very soon.

Suddenly, Taehyung gasps and points to a store across the airport. "Jiminie, there's plushies!!!" Before I can stop him, he dashes off in that direction, swallowed by the sea of people. God damn it. Two minutes in Seoul and I've already lost Tae.

Cursing under my breath, I wade into the crowd, jostling aside bodies until I've emerged in a pocket of space next to a store, nowhere near the damned plushie store. Where tf am I?

As I scan the airport for any sign of my over enthusiastic brother, the peppy pop song blaring over the intercom ends, and is replaced by a romantic ballad, sung by a smooth feminine voice. My voice. Fuck.
"Don't wanna be fool..." I cringe at hearing the all too familiar voice again. With it comes memories, too many to count.
"Wanna be cool,
Wanna be loved,
너와의 same love..." The melody takes me back a few years, to when I had dressed expensively and performed in stadiums every night. I remember recording myself singing over and over, until my voice sounded exactly like the late idol Sujin.

And then I remember something else that makes me want to forget everything.
"If I didn't have you..."
"I'm so stupid, stupid, stupid,"
"I can't love you anymore"
"That was my entire life, and now it's all gone,"
"Just let me leave, please!"
All because of me
Because of me
Because of me

As the song plays out, I cower in my corner by the vending machines. I can feel tears streaking down my face and I pray no one can see me now.

Make it go away, please, I want it to go away!!

But I can't hide from the memories.

No one can.

"Hey! There he is!" Hearing Taehyung bring me back to reality. He runs over and engulfs me into a hug. "Jiminie-hyung, don't wander off like that! I couldn't find you!"

"I-I did not wander off," I straighten up and try to compose myself. I know perfectly well Tae can sense my tears and is waiting for the right time to ask. "You did!! I was trying to find you, idiot." I huff and ruffle his hair. Then I notice the dude watching us, looking uncomfortable.
"Who is—"
"Jungkook!" Taehyung steps back and waves him over. "This is Jeon Jungkook, he helped me find you.

"Hi," he looks at me sheepishly. "Your boyfriend—"
"Brother," The correction comes so easily since many mistake us as lovers. It's an easy mistake, we look nothing alike, especially since Tae dyed his hair grey.
He blinks in surprise. "Sorry, your brother showed up near my terminal, looking upset and dragged me around the airport looking for you,"
"He's a bit clingy,"
Tae pops up between us. "Jungkookie looked bored. I rescued him!"
"My parents are here to see my aunt off. I was brought along," he smiles sheepishly. "I should get back to them." But he doesn't make an attempt to move, still staring at Taehyung.

Oh, I see.

Tae has this effect on people. He's got a fun innocent personality paired with drop dead looks that could charm the socks off the queen of England. Thing is, he's very oblivious. We'll see how long Jungkook can endure.

"Okay, goodbye Jungkook, nice meeting you. Thanks for the help!" I herd Taehyung in the opposite direction and pretend to miss the moment when Jungkook slips a piece of paper to Tae.

"Call me?" He asks, with those beautiful bright doe eyes.

Oh, young love.
