Superhuman (Elton Castee X Reader)

3 a.m. Challenge is a go.

As soon as Colby pulled in I panicked. "Are you staying?" I asked worried. "I'm not actually. I was going to exercise with Aaron."
"Can I go?"
"(Y/n), are you worried?"
"Psh no.... is it that obvious?"
"Just a little. Don't worry Sam wouldn't put you in danger... on purpose."
"Wait what?"
"Nothing come on we need to go in."
"If I call you and want to leave will you get me?"
"Yes. Does that make you feel better?"
"Surprisingly yes."
"Just have me on speed dial." He said with a smirk opening his door. I opened the door and walked to the door. "You ready (y/n)?"
"Can I change first?"
"Course. We need to be ready to film as soon as Jake and his girl get here."
"So it's just you, me, Kat, Corey, and them?"
"Yup I tried to get Colby and Aaron in on it but they already had plans." He said smirking at me. He had an evil smile. I pulled out my phone and called Colby. "(Y/n) I haven't even left the house." Colby's voice rang through. I here the shower running. "Just making sure you'll pick up."
"And why wouldn't I?"
"Cause you're busy."
"Well not you see that not even showering will make me not pick up." He said and I could hear that smirk on his face. Then I blushed thinking about what he just said. "Well thanks get back to doing what you're doing." I said then hung up. "Hey! That's mean hanging up before I could respond!" Colby yelled down to me. I chuckled at his remark. "Why did you call Colby?"
"Well if I get scared and don't want to be here Colby said he would help and come get me." I said looking at him. Aaron called down the stairs and i smiled at him. He's face flushed. "Hey." He said lightly. "Hey. Oh before I forget, do you think it would be okay if I can get your number. I have everyone else's and I want yours too." I said slightly blabbering. "Ye-yeah." He said with a red tint to his face. I chuckled as he gave me his number. "Thanks a lot Aaron!" I said happily kissing his cheek. He smiled. "We-well I'm going to go put my stuff in my car. I'll be back in a second." He said really fast not looking me in the eye. I chuckled at his actions. I enjoy hanging out with all of them. So hopefully tonight will be fun. I started to feel relaxed and kinda excited about the video. "So we are just waiting?"
"Yup." Sam answered. We all sat on the couch and started to play on our phones. As soon as I pulled out my phone I went on snap chat. I saw Elton had posted. I clicked on the post and it was him with Amanda. She was kissing his cheek. I felt my heart drop. I didn't fully understand why I felt this way. I mean I use to ship them. So why does it make me so.... jealous? He isn't my boyfriend. I put my phone on mute and sat it on the table. Colby walked down the stairs. Aaron followed behind him until they were standing in front of us. "So we are leaving now. We'll be home in a while. Be safe." Colby said waving. I hummed and nodded to him. He smiled and waved leaving the house. After a few more minutes of us sitting around the door opens. "We have arrived!" Jake yelled out. We all walked up to him and started to head up the stairs. Kat walked next to me. I looked at her and she gave me an apologetic look. "Hm?"
"I saw you see the post. You don't need to act." She said softly. I smiled a genuine smile. "I'm fine I promise. Thank you for worrying about me." I said as we got to Sam's bedroom door. We all walked in and he just grabbed his camera and started to make the video. He explained what we were doing and only Jake and Sam seemed excited. Sam handed me the paper and a pen. I was very nervous to say the least. How was I dragged into this again? I sigh and write my name into the paper. As I went to stab my finger one idea kept popping into my head. My mom is going to kill me. We start the "game" and we all huddled closely together. As we walked around the rooms and we hear the t.v. turn on. We all panick and run into the room to turn off the t.v. as soon as we do my candle goes out. "Sam! Sam! The lighter now!" I yelled out and he hurriedly lit the light lighting my candle. "Let's get out of the room now!" Kat yelled out. As soon as we left the living room Sam's light goes out and he doesn't notice. "Sam!"I yelled out pointing at his candle he mumbles oh crap while lighting the candle. After it's lit we hear my phone go off but I had it muted. "Sam! I don't wanna play anymore!" Kat cried out. We then heard a sound up stairs. Kat now actually in tears. "Sam. We should stop." I softly say. He nodded to me. "Okay let's head upstairs to end the game." As Jake said this one of the penny boards come rolling into the living room we just left. All of us yell and started to head upstairs walking fairly. "Ah! I need the lighter!" Kat yelled as soon as we got up the stairs. She has a problem lighting it so she started crying. I grab the light and light her candle again. She hugged me tightly. "Thank you."
"No problem I'll have your back." I said smiling at her. She nods at me then looks at the other talking. "Okay let's go end this." Sam says walking to the door. We end the game and sit in Sam's room. "Holy crap." I mumbled out. "That was crazy Sam." I said smiling at him. "You have to admit it was fun." He said smirking. "It kinda was." I said full on smiling now. It was such a rush. The other finished the recording and turned off the camera. "Well Sam as much as I love you we need to be heading out. Call us if anything happens." Jake said. We walk them to the door and wave them a good bye. As soon as we shut the door I remember something. "My phone!" I yell out startling the two next to me. I run into the living room and look at my phone. I had one missed call and it was Elton. He left a voice mail. I look at them over my shoulder. "It was Elton. He left a voice mail." I said to them. "Play it!" Kat said happily. I nod and hit the play button.  "What do you even see in her?" Amanda said. "What do you mean she is a friend. I would NEVER date her. I love you." He said. I felt my heart drop. "How can I trust you?"
"Trust me I wouldn't date anybody like her. I don't like her type." He said then the voice mail ended. I look at Sam and Kat. They both grabbed me into a tight hug. I cried yet I didnt understand why I cried. Maybe it was because I have cancer and that's why he couldn't like me. Maybe it was because I thought he was different.  Maybe I actually thought I had a chance. Maybe it's because I like him.
