And he kissed me.
His lips were soft and gentle, and so were his hands that cupped my cheeks.
"I love you, Olivia." He murmured on my lips, his breath warm against my mouth. I breathed him in, along with the lingering smell of icing sugar, vanilla and citrus; it was a strange aroma, and it intrigued me.
His eyes were closed and his face glowed; it was as if the twinkles in his eyes shone past his eyelids and spread through his veins before popping out of his pores in a pale tanned light-show.
I closed my eyes as well, letting myself get lost in his lips because I could. I could get lost and never come out and I could be happy doing so.
"I love you too." I breathed.
