His eyes were brighter than normal, sparkling and twinkling in the light that filtered through my blinds. I looked up into them, the corners of my lips turned upwards in a small smile.
He murmured, "I love you, Olivia."
I rested my head on his chest, listening to his heart beat and feeling his chest rise with each breath.
