(Your POV)

"Thanks for the hard work!"

I was currently walking back home after a long day at work. I'm a cashier person in 7-eleven and had this job for almost a year. Since I was a stupid child back then, I didn't even made an effort to studying that's why I ended up in this job. Honestly, I'm not really choosy in terms of what job I have but if I did better in life, I guess I had more than what I have now.

I sighed, massaging my aching back. I then stop for a bit from the near bench to take a few minutes rest. I placed my bag beside me and fished out my phone. I keep on checking my social medias and stop when I saw all my old classmates post something.

There I saw one of them having the best time of their life, going to trips with their love ones. Some where already married and I'm undeniably jealous.

I placed down my phone to my laps as I looked up, staring at the night sky.

"Ah~ what am I doing with my life?" I mumbled, closing my eyes. "They all have their time of their lives and then here's me."

"If only I have someone with me.."

"Meow~"

I laughed a little when I heard a cat sound. (a/n: while writing this, I was shook when there's a stranger cat in front of me like literally staring at me and I'm at my house all alone wtf)

"Oh now I have a cat pitying me." I grab the cat and placed it on my laps. I petted it and it seemed to like my touch as it closed it eyes.

The cat's color is black, mixed up with a white fur. He had this beautiful brown eyes as it stared at me. I giggled when this went to my chest and hugged me. I continued petting him while I grab my bag.

"Shall we go?" I asked as the cat responded purring.

For the next few months, we and Yuichi lives together. He would always appear in front of the door whenever I come home and it's honestly the best feeling. With him, I don't feel so lonely anymore and I find myself enjoying my job too.

I sat down to the couch as Yuichi ran towards me. I looked at him as I started petting him.

"Why are you so cute?"

"Eh, I'm cute?"

I stared at the cat eyes wide. Did this cat just fucking talked to me? I laughed nervously, placing him down then I stood up.

"Ok I'm just hallucinating things. There's no way he would talked to me haha.."

"Eh? But I'm talking to you?"

I stopped and looked at him. Yuichi looked at me confused and still a cat. I turned back and scratched the back of my head. "Maybe I'm just tired.  I should just sleep for today."

"Then let me sleep with you too!"

I quickly turned around and run towards him and grab him.

"Hey! Watch how you held me! You could kill me, you know?"

"You're really.. talking to me.."

"Of course why did you think I can't? Look!" He jumped from my hands and then suddenly there's a big smoke appeared in front of me and a man naked appeared in front of me.

I just stared at him as I felt my cheeks flushed. "AAAHHH! What the hell?! Pervert!" I screamed as I went to the kitchen and started throwing him stuffs which he instantly avoid effortlessly.

"O-Oi! W-wait—woah! Be careful, will you?!"

"No! Pervert! Where did you come from?! Are you here to rape me?! Omg someone help me! This monster is about to attack me!" I keep on throwing things at him and when I don't have anymore to throw, I began to panicked.

I'm going to be rape by this cat!

"Y/n. I'm not going to hurt you, ok?" Yuichi slowly walked towards me as I kept myself alerted. When he was now in front of me, he held his hand on me and I quickly closed my eyes. My heart was beating so fast as I accepted my fate. When I thought he would hurt me, I felt a soft touch linger in my face.

I slowly open my eyes and met his face. He had his smile plastered on his face as he held my other hand that's holding the bowl. He grab the bowl and placed it beside me.

"Don't your remember it?"

I stared at his orbs and I couldn't pulled my eyes away from it. My cheeks felt hot as his hand kissed my own.

"You wished for me."

"What?"

"That day.. you were sitting in that bench, you wished for me."

I thought for a moment but I couldn't remember anything what I said on that day. When he saw no spark of me remembering it, he continued talking.

(Normal POV)

"If only I have someone with me.. you said that and kami-sama heard you and gave me for you."

Y/n laughed a bit and pulled away from him.

"But I never wished that. I only said that because I was feeling sad." She walked away from him and grab a glass of water. When she heard no response from him, she turned towards him and saw the disappointment in his eyes.

Feeling a bit bad she walked back towards him but he pulled away. "I'm sorry. I thought you had wished for me.."

"Yuichi?"

"I thought I already accomplished my task.. i'm sorry for misunderstanding it."

And with that he run outside making Y/n dumbfounded.

She kept waiting for Yuichi to come back but she couldn't hear any door opening for signal and it kept her bothered. She didn't mean to made him sad. She just couldn't see when did she even wished for him.

She scratched the back of her head and sat down.

She never wished for him, right?

But.. that time.. she felt the need of a presence that would comfort her from her loneliness and he came.

Her eyes flew open and she instantly grab her phone.

She might not said it directly.. but in her heart she did asked for him and he came. She felt stupid for not remembering that simple thing and even hurted him to that point.

She kept looking for him through the streets but saw no Yuichi. When she thought she had lost him, there he saw a cat in that same bench she sat.

She instantly went and there she saw Yuichi. His ears low. She kneel in front and petted him. His cat eyes looked at her as she smiled.

"I'm sorry for not remembering it but, you were right. You came when I needed you the most. You changed my perspective in life and made me enjoy the things that I couldn't appreciate."

She grab him and held him protectively in her arms.

"Thank you for coming for me."

Omg this sucks. I had an idea but somewhere  I got lost and the ending became this. Omg I'm sorry if I disappoint you all.
