Rachel's p.o.v.
It was Friday. I was hanging out with my friends Jamie, Ashley, and Claire. While they were busy talking about something on sale at Forever21, I was tuning them out and scribbling on a blank paper. I was working out a problem for my Calculus homework and to be honest I was doing pretty well in Calculus. Amy had started tutoring me over FaceTime, so my grades were a lot better than usual. Before I met Amy, I never even did homework.
David walked up to us and scratched the back of his head. Jamie looked up and smiled. "Hey, Rachel, can we talk?" I hopped off my seat, confused.
"Yeah, sure," I said curiously. We went out of the room and down the hallway. We stopped at the lockers and I leaned against them "What's on your mind?" He looked extremely uncomfortable and looked away.
"Michael..." he began. "He thinks it would be best if you guys, uh, broke it off..." I stopped smiling. "Yeah..." He left and walked down the other hallway. I wiped away a tear that slid down my cheek.
It's nothing...
I walked back to the room my friends were in, now visibly upset. Jamie looked up and saw my face and immediately got up to go comfort me. "Rachel, honey, what happened?" she asked with a concerned look on her face. Ashley and Claire noticed as well, because they ran up to me.
"Micheal sent David...to tell me that Michael doesn't want to be with me anymore," I said and cried into Jamie's shoulder as she hugged me.
"Oh, honey..." Jamie stroked my hair.
"How about we go out and buy you some clothes," Claire suggested, which didn't really help. Ashley smiled and nodded her head.
"I'm sorry guys. I think I'm just going to go home..." I told them. Jamie released me.
"Okay, sweetie. Don't forget to call us," Jamie reminded me. I grabbed my bag and rushed out the door with tears in my eyes. I could've asked my mom to pick me up, but instead I ran all the way home.
For anyone who had gone through a breakup, you know how this feels. It's even worse that Micheal sent David instead of facing Rachel himself.
Micheal broke up with her because he noticed that Rachel was starting to do her homework and pay attention in class, she didn't drink as much, she didn't have sex with him as much, she didn't bully anyone anymore, and spent most of her time on her phone. This was actually because she was texting Amy. So you see. Amy has influenced Rachel a lot. Rachel is now a totally different person from her in chapter one.
So, how's it going to go when Amy finds out Rachel is single and when Rachel finds out she likes girls. ;D
