Rachel's p.o.v.

WARNING:BULLYING  AND VIOLENCE IN THIS CHAPTER MAY BE TRIGGERING. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

It was a Wednesday. On Wednesdays I had a specific schedule for the party I went to every week. This didn't count the parties on the weekend or on the other week days. Of course, for the past few months I hadn't gone to a many parties as I used to. Most of the time I'm texting Amy.

I was walking down the school hallway, making my way to the next class. I heard a loud thud in the distance. I quickly rounded a corner to check what it was. Some jocks were holding a small girl against the lockers. The all had smirks on their faces, and watched as the, probably freshman, girl whimpered in pain.

The jocks looked my face as I stormed near them. One of then chuckled and commented on how pathetic the girl was. Unexpectedly, I didn't join them in tormenting the girl like I would've before, but I shouted "Leave her alone!"

They stared at me confused and dumb founded. "Hey, what the fuck is wrong with you lately, Rachel?" one of the asked. "You used to be putting these weirdos in their place like the Queen you were." I looked at the crying girl. She pathetically kicked her feet in the air as she could barely touch the ground.

Amy...

"If you fuckers don't leave in two seconds, I will make your life a living he'll," I threatened. They all snickered.

"We're just putting her in her place. What makes you think I would listen to you. Jamie is going to become Queen of the school if you knock this shit off," he laughed darkly and high fived one of the other jocks. My mind raced with ideas to make them back off.

That poor girl... I can't believe I ever did this to people. I'm a terrible person. I can still change though... I have Amy...Amy. Amy!

"You claim to be putting her in her place, but you're not. Don't you realize that people pay more attention bullying her than spending time with you? It's like she's the popular one," I lied. He growled at me in response. His friends frowned and thought about this. "May I remind you Micheal is my boyfriend." This didn't make me feel any better, because Micheal was also a bully. I hoped yo scare them, since Michael was the most athletic guy in the school. He would beat them if I asked him too. However, that would also bring more violence. I hoped they would back off.

He smirked and dropped the girl to her knees. "Come on guys. She's not worth it." He motioned for them to follow as he walked away. I glared at the back of his head until he went around the corner.

I then reached out my hand to the girl with braids. "Here let me help you up," I said kindly. Her eyes watered and tears started falling down her cheeks. She backed away from me clutching her recently bruised jaw.

"Leave me alone! I hate you!" she screamed at me. I felt the sting of the words. She used my hurt expression to buy time and made a run for it.

I just wanted to help...

That got emotional real quick. So, Rachel has changed a lot and it's obvious that Amy is the reason why. She doesn't bully people anymore and she wants to give everyone a chance. Amy still doesn't know that Rachel used to bully people so dramaaaaa.

You're probably asking why the girl ran away when Rachel tried to help her. Here's why. Many victims of bullying have been bullied for years. Those that have, start to lose their trust in the world and the people around them.

I had a friend who was bullied for 5 years. That's a pretty long time! Anyways, he didn't have any other friends except for me. We went to different schools but I was always visiting him. He eventually stopped being friends with me because he lost his trust. Many others had pretended to be his friend just to beat him up in the end.

He grew so paranoid of the world that he didn't even trust his own family. People turned him into an empty vessel to fill and empty as they pleased. The thing is he started only listening to what others said. He let them bruise him. He let them control his emotions and feeling and even thoughts.

I just want to say that bullying is not a joke. This kind of thing is happening everywhere. And it shouldn't be taken lightly. If you are being bullied then you need to tell someone. It may seem like adults won't do anything. While it's true you can't stop bullying, you can survive. It may seem like nobody loves you. But just remember that you aren't alone.

There are so many websites, forums, chats, groups, activities, events, and clubs that are based around connecting with someone who is also bullied. Just know that there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to survive.

Toby. If you are reading this. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what happened to you. I'm sorry for not trying hard enough to stay by your side. You needed me the most and I'm sorry for letting you down. Just know that you are always in my thoughts and I love you. The world may seem like a dark place. But if you need to see the truth, I will be your beacon of light. You may feel like there is nothing you can do. Like your thoughts will always depend on others. You may feel black and blue inside out. But just know I love you to the ends of the earth. Please, don't stop fighting. Because there are people who care about you.

This is for you, Toby.

You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

Loveya
