The bedroom door swung open as a tall lean man with shaggy brown hair entered. A tray full of food in his hands. He placed the treat on the bedside counter his eyes fixated on the sleeping beauty sprawled across their bed. A small smile gracing his lips, his dimples on full display. He just couldn't picture a life without having the woman laying peacefully on his bed. She was his everything.

"June. Love, wake up." A small groan came from the dainty lady, her body stirring as Namjoon ran his fingers through the curly mess on her head. "Namjoon?" his smile grew.

"Why are you up so early?" She asked squinting her eyes as she stared at her husband who just held the large smile on his face.

"I thought I could maybe spoil you with some breakfast in bed." He said gesturing to the tray stacked with toast almost burnt to a crisp, a mug of steaming hot coffee with a side of bacon and egg. She couldn't help but eye the food with worry which Namjoon immediately noticed.

"Don't worry I didn't burn the kitchen down." It wasn't the kitchen she was worried about , it was that sunnyside up egg that looked like it had a lopsided smile.

She giggled sitting up as he handed her the tray.

"Thank you." She murmured taking a bite at the bacon. The food wasn't as bad as she thought it would be but even if it was she'd eat it all without any hesitation. Well except the egg. After all Namjoon did do this out of love.

Acknowledging his choice of attire, a frown replaced the small smile on her lips. "Your leaving for work?" She asked meeting her husband's gaze with confusion apparent in her doe eyes. He nodded his gaze shifting away from hers. "Jin called, said there was a case for me."

"But Jin knows your on downtime. Why couldn't he just take the case?" She asked her eyes now filled with misery. Namjoon quickly caught the tray that almost toppled over her lap. "I asked him the same exact thing but he said it was urgent." Namjoon gently held her hands that were balled up into fists. Giving them a comforting squeeze.

"Hey, look at me." She glanced up from their intertwined hands, meeting his gaze. "How about a deal? I'll probably be gone for two days at most," Her frown deepened at hearing that, "but I promise that when I get back it'll just be the two of us curled up in bed watching Friends and eating ice-cream. How does that sound?"

"...Bubblegum tropics?"

A chuckle slipped past his lips. "Sure. Bubblegum tropics. Deal?"

A small smile spread across her face.

"Deal. Now go, I don't want to be the reason for your late arrival." She said shoving him away and getting off the bed. Namjoon pouted. "Without a kiss?"

With a roll of her hazel eyes she got onto her tippy toes giving him a peck on the cheek. He gave her a blank stare which she found amusing a sly smile playing on her lips. "What? You asked for a kiss didn't ya?" he rolled his eyes pulling her close to him by the waist. "Yeah, by a kiss I meant a proper one." he whispered before locking his lips with her plump one's.

What was meant to be a short innocent kiss was quickly turning out to be quite passionate. With a groan June gently pushed him away with both her palms on his chest. "As much as I'd like for us to continue this. I don't want Jin and his fussy butt to lecture me." she said adjusting his tie, as his eyes never left her lips for even a second.

"He can wait." he finally said meeting her eyes which held a mischievous glint.

"Bye, Namjoon."

"But June-"

"Namjoon. See you in two days. Okay?"

"Okay. Love you.

"...Love you, too."

Hey everybody! This chapter was meant to be longer than that but I changed my mind I mean where would the fun be in revealing everything in the 2nd chappie?

I hope y'all enjoyed the chapter though it was mostly Namjoon and June being all lovey dovey🙄but is it gonna stay like that?🤔
