chapter 4

It was dark in the room that held the two women. The outline of one of them was trembling and moving around in her bed. She started whimpering please stop I'll be good I promise. She flinched like she was slapped. Get off. She was waving her arms around pushing off a person that was not on her.
Sky start screaming in her sleep when Jenny came over and shook her. Sky woke up with a gasp and almost head-butted Jenny. " I'm so sorry Jenny I didn't mean to wake you". " it's all routes gay are you all right you scared me". " yeah just a nightmare go back to sleep I think I'm going to go for a run". " are you sure?" " yeah I'm sure you just go back to bed".
Skywatch Jenny crawl back into bed and go to sleep. She put on her sports bra and tank top to go with her black capris. She was going to go out for a late-night job to clear her head. The air was nice and Chris but not too cold to go jogging. It has always cleared up any of my worries that I had.
The campus here was pretty big with lots of students on campus. I think running into people here at night would be difficult because they're all in bed. I didn't want to talk to anyone. I was just turning the corner of the building when I crashed into someone.
The hard chest who was full of muscle so I knew it was a guy and I tensed up. I didn't like men so much anymore not with my past. I look up and notice it was Austin the guy who threw his football at me. 
" sorry about that I'm Austin you remember"? " yeah you threw the football". " yes well you wouldn't give me your name but I found it".  I looked at him like I didn't believe him. " oh yeah then what is it then?" " your name is Skye Patton at this is your first year here". I looked at him shocked but happy he found the time to look to who I am. 
I started walking and then motioned for Austin to join me. " look I know I came off as rude but I'd like for us to be friends". Sky smile to herself because she's never had a friend before besides Jenny. " I would really like that Austin maybe we can hang out more tomorrow after class?" 
" I would love to I can't wait". Austin walked her back to her dorm before waving and walking down the hall to his. Scar smile before going to lie down again to try and get some more sleep. It didn't take long before sleep consumed her.
Sky woke up the buzzing of her phone on the nightstand. " hello?" " highsky this is Jacob I got a hold of your parents. They want to meet you but want a DNA test done. I set you up for appointment at noon at the hospital. Your parents are coming this weekend to meet you though". 
I can't shake this happy feeling of finally meeting my family again. " thank you Jacob for doing this for me it means the world to me". " no worries Sky they have your number so expect to have a phone call from them soon". " alright thanks so much Jacob see you soon bye". 
I ended the phone call before I started squealing and kicking my feet in the air. I was just glad Jenny was already at her classes. I was a little nervous going to the hospital by myself. But I have no one here yet that I know for sure I can trust. I had a couple of classes I had to go to before I had to go to the hospital.
I had a private session with one of my vocalists today so that the class I had to get to first. After getting all ready in the morning I started my walk to class. The class was across campus so you really need to make sure you're not late. If you're late for any class that kick you out and lock the door for the day.
I need those classes so I know I can't be late. I got to the school on a scholarship I didn't want to throw it back in their face. My teacher was a great one whole had a lot of patience. I made it to the classroom right on time. " I'm so glad you could join us". " sorry Miss Carol you told me to find a song to sing and I did. I also been practicing singing it and put my own little twist for it".
" well I'm glad for you Sky who is it buying the song? It's Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls". Miss Carol was surprised by my choice but you nodded her head for me to continue. I was terrified this was my first time singing in front of someone. I took a deep breath and left it all wash away.

I just don't want to miss your you tonight. I felt a rush of adrenaline and I powered on the to the course. And I don't want the world to see me. Cuz I don't think that they'd understand. " well Sky you're amazing I was a little surprised you picked the song. I know for a fact this is one of the hardest songs to sing. I didn't see you going far with your singing Talent". " thank you so much Miss curl your are so far the best teacher I ever had". " my pleasure Sky I can't wait to continue to work with you". 
That was the end of the lesson and I was so proud of myself. I smiled at Miss Carol before I left the classroom and headed straight to the hospital. I knew today was going to be difficult day but rewarding. The campus was kind of in the middle of nowhere so he's always took a bit of time to get in places like the hospital.
My taxi driver was super nice and he talked about his family the whole time which I enjoyed. The front desk wasn't very busy when I came in. I found a board secretary sitting at the desk. " hi there ever appointment with dr. Ford". The girl didn't say anything just continue to play on her phone.
" look excuse me I'm looking for dr. Ford". " look I'm busy right now I'll get to you when I have the time". I was getting very angry now with the ignorant secretary. I took the phone out of her hands and put on the other side of the desk.
" either get me dr. Ford now or I will tell your boss you're playing on your phone". The girl looks scared but finally got on the phone and page the doctor. He came down right away and took Sky to private room. " alright hop up on the bed and we'll get through this as quickly as we can".
" how long is it going to take before the results come in?" " it all depends on sometimes it takes days other weeks". " open your mouth please". Dr. Ford had a swab and ran across my cheeks. I felt a little weird but I just went with it. " now I will phone you and your family once I get the results".
