Regected but I don't need him

Chapter 10

       Kira's (POV)

"You never said you were an alpha."

"I was scared to, I thought with your experience that if I told you that you'd regect me instantly because of what happened to you in your last pack. I didn't want you to so I wanted you to get to know me before I told you," Josh says.
  "So that's what you have been hiding from me?"
"Yes. will you accept me Kira?" Josh says.
I, Kira Danvers accept you Joshua Smith as my mate, lover and protector."
At this Josh stands up and offers me his hand, which I take and stand up, with new tears streaming down my face. He picks me up bridal style and we kiss. The kiss is amazing, it's one of those kisses that one can get lost in and loose all track of time. Which we did. Before we knew it, it was dark and it was getting colder. He sits me down and asks me,"are you ready to see your new home?"
I was nervous but knowing I was going to be safe I said yes and we started walking to our pack. We got to where I ran away. The guards were still standing there. They looked at Joshua and bowed the heads. Then they looked at me. I didn't know what to do but running wasn't an option anymore. Joshua gently squeezed my hand and I calmed down again and gave him a small smile.
The guards bowed to me as well... Ella was jumping for joy. She was so happy to have our new mate and that he accepted us. We continued to walk hand in hand for about an hour accompanied by the three guards. When we reached his house it was huge, Mansion like in house standards, at least compared to my house that is.
   As we reached the door I froze. Joshua looks at me. "What if they don't accept me? What if your parents don't like me? Alot of what ifs followed."
  "They'll accept you. They have been waiting for their Luna for a couple years, I did everything to find my Luna and mate. And I left my pack to find you as my father took care of the pack for me till my return. They'll love you," Joshua says.
   He then kisses me and we walk into the house. " Dad, Mom, I'm home...." Next thing I know there's all sorts of noise as they come running into the room. His mom hugs him tightly, and his Dad does to,all the while I'm hiding behind him,so they don't see me at first.
"Dad, Mom I want you to meet my mate and our Luna Kira," and steps aside so I'm in full view. They look at him and then look at me. His mom takes me into a tight hug and then his dad. "Joshua you finally found her, we're so happy for you, congratulations son..........We are celebrating tomorrow" his parents say together. A big pack party, so that they can meet their Luna."
We were ushered into the kitchen and his mom grabs everything she could for a meal and cooked us dinner. We ate and got to know each other, I calmed down and was so happy to be in a family.
