Mal sigued softly as she, Evie, Jay, and Carlos rode toward the Isle's Barrier. Her thoughts turbulent, especially after what her mother had told her, and what she'd found in her mother's journal, from when she was paramours with that bastard King Stephan. She sighed again, quieter though. Ah well, she'd just have to ride her time.

JAY'S POV

Jay stared at Mal for a few minutes, before turning to start an argument with Carlos, which prompted Evie to try to get involved, which completed his goal of giving Mal time to get her head on straight. He was worried, they all were, but Mal was always the one who had looked out for their group, making sure they were safe and fed as well as was possible considering they lived on the Isle of The Lost. Not that all these so-called peasants of Auradon would understand what that meant. He was just glad that they should be alright at least for a while.

UNKNOWN POV

Mal and the others stepped out of the limousine cautiously as The Fairy Godmother walked up to them, followed by kind Adam and queen Belle, and the one and only prince Ben. They listened silently to her welcoming speech and silently followed her on the tour, and it was just as they reached the front door that things went wrong.

MAL

(No! Not my baby, take my life but leave her alone! A cold laugh and Avada Kedavra, a flash of greenlight painpainfearpain.) (A huge snake, and impaling her arm on a giant fang only barely saved by the tears of a phoenix.) (Two people, a girl with bushy brown hair and a redheaded boy, and the youngest of six boys, her best friends. Not her first friend, no that was her owl.) She fell unconscious.
